Not really. There was once a time when the west was a lot more European dominated, so there were a lot more blondes in comparison to non-blondes. However, now that there are so many girls of so many different looks, it's not any harder to find a hot black haired girl than it is to find a hot blonde haired girl. Of course, this depends on your location in the west, but as someone from NYC, and now living in NC (both in U. S. A) I find this to be true.

it depends on the women , some are and some are worth the extra effort but you don't really know until you get to know them well and that can be a challenge

Eh , I don't think they're overrated I've noticed a lot of blonde girls kind of get made fun of or get those blonde jokes , which can be funny lol. I think blonde girls are super attractive as long as they aren't the "barbie" ditzy type

Honestly, to me it seems like most guys prefer brunettes to blondes, it's just the media that hypes up blondes. I'm not saying blondes can't be attractive.
