The first one or shorter. The second one is the max length. Long hair never did anything for me. Really long hair on girls seems super vain. I'd prefer hair half the length of the first pic, or even a quarter that length, than the second pic or longer.

It's just hair. Wash it and comb it every now and then, and be done with it.

It depends who the hair is on. Personally I like shoulder length but shoulder length doesn't look good on everyone.

It's actually a fact. Heat damage and chemical damage are a thing and perming/straightening your hair too much can cause long lasting damage. It's why I decided to go natural because I want to be a woman with a full head of hair and not thin dry hair with bald spots.

That will all change when they're older. I've seen a lot of horrible cases where women have had super damaged hair from that stuff. It's really not good in the long run.

@xXiTacoXx My Mom is 40, my Grandma is 63. Both of them had perms since they was young. They hair still going strong. I don't know if its cause my great grandma was half native American or what, but not everybodys hair works the same

When you've seen balding old ladies like I have you change your mind about perms. Native American blood has nothing to do with it. I also have native blood in my family from ancestors, but my hair is thicker than the hair of many people in my family and we share the same blood. Your mom and sisters are probably doing something different, but I still wouldn't trust those perms.
