Do you see all these black women? All these beautiful women with wide noses? I love my wide-ish nose and I don't want to change it, but sometimes I feel I have to. I want to go into Hollywood, either for acting or writing or medical, and I don't want people to turn me at the door because I don't wear makeup, so I look like an average girl or because I refuse to get a nose job, now my career is going to be ten times harder. I am here to entertain and care for people and I believe you can be pretty without a nose job. In fact, you can be pretty without makeup. I don't even like wearing make up for the plays I do or going to meetings, but somehow, I feel like the world is going to see me as a less than if I don't.
I media all they ever show is women with very eurocentric features like small, perfect button noses. That's not reality, I know maybe 3 people with that media nose. I don't understand why it has to be like this, all noses can be beautiful and wide noses are certainly very pretty if you ask me 😊
my mixed child has a wide nose. if she didn't she would look weird to me. she's half black with "tan" skin, blonde hair and blue/hazel eyes. her nose and her hair texture definitely let's people know she's mixed.
None of the women in my family have a wide nose except me. They all have pointed noses. When I was younger I wanted a nose job but I've grown to like it
I don't think the girl in the pic before Danai has a wide nose.. LOL.. It's just kind along.. But this goes back to the Euro-centric standards of society.. Although I think the makeup thing will be mandatory at some point if you go to Hollywood.. Lol..
At the end of the day, you can believe that you can be pretty with or without a lot of things - doesn't change the fact that most others may or may not agree with you.
a good portion of us just don't find them appealing and since we are the majority and art is a reflection of reality and thought it does not show such. but I hardly see any posters or propaganda saying to hate such features.
and before you go off on some rant I don't even find white people attractive I like Asians so not much bias here

but yah if Africa or a black majority place had a media worth a damn it would probably exalt such features as the best after all preference and attraction are subjective to each person and based on many things
The fact that you said a good portion of us don't find them attractive should tell you something... LOL.. Nobody should ever say that with confidence..
@JDavid25 yes it tells me most people part with like kinds as history proves. if the majority is white they are going to find certain things more familiar appealing the same is said for other majorities I don't see fucking Korea Japan or China exalting black features either or even white ones.
why? because they are majority Asian and so they find their own Kin more appealing as a whole

and no it is biological as a culture is a reflection of a country and the people in it if the majority in that country are of a certain race they will tend to hold theirs as the ideal standard of beauty

They pretty much praise, and idolize "White" people.. LOL.. Of course they find what the mainly see attractive, but it doesn't stop there.. And no it's not biological.. It's societal and cultural.. What you mostly see, or admire you start to like.. You love anime, and admire "Asian" culture and in the back of yo mind wannabe like them, you start to like everything about their culture, includin the women.. It's that simple..

@JDavid25 countries in Africa don't hold the standard of beauty to be a white blonde European chick.; some may find that attractive but ultimately they favor their own features and style as the average. we have been fucking about in Africa for a long time so that's not culture dip shit that's just the natural course of events. does this mean some things can't be pulled from others? no most our ideals of beauty are stolen but racially wise on average its what ever the majority is
@JDavid25 the grey skin thing was more so an exaggeration as I know. even black people lighten up after a couple generations if they are in areas like America that are higher up on the lines or what ever the fuck they're called. longitude? latitude? something. however we would most certainly all be mixed if your statement was true as we have been swapping culture and fucking about for 1000s of years
@JDavid25 as for the Asian thing they would all be marrying off white guy's if they were just trying to copy whites yet they don't and many are quite conservative and stay within the race so my point still stands to each part to their own kind on average
@JDavid25, however, i do have to answer one point yes my attraction to Asians is probably due to the amount of culture I have indulged in since 6, however, i am a one off and this is a game of averages. on average most prefer their own race. otherwise, we would again all be mixed. and while we do mingle a lot between nationality and such we tend to stay within racial lines out of natural reasons.
Culture can be formed by many things.. Dancing is apart of culture, can everybody biologically dance, or braid hair? No it's learned.. Culture is learned not biological.. LOL.. They teachin you wrong.. LOL.. And preference is also learned.. It is not biological as it wouldn't make sense if somebody randomly likes somebody outside of their perceived group.. And yeah we pretty much are all mixed bruh.. LOL..

In some countries in Africa, they may hold their features up because yes, they are the majority, but that doesn't mean they hold other features down, or call them ugly.. I even hear that in African they try and lighten their skin because they too were affected by Euro-centric standards.. Also you're lowkey provin my point.. everything can again be connected back to biology and chemicals. it does not just spawn out of nowhere for no reason there is almost always a reason behind it
@JDavid25 the issue is we don't control what we like. granted a good portion is nurture but a good portion is nature. scientists don't fully know which is which we have been trying to take it apart for some time. but everything that is nurtured still comes from nature it all connects back as we are just biological computers and bound to certain parameters just as monkeys and wolves. sure a lion may fuck a leopard and produce offspring but on average lions fuck lions and leopards fuck leopards.
pack animals will mate with those in their own group and will occasional fuck a passerby

Humans have different cultures, monkeys have animal behaviors.. There's even different cultures among the same groups.. There's different cultures in Africa, Europe, etc.. Culture is many things.. None of it is biological, all of it is learned behavior..
