I can't keep mine down unless it's wet. I have ridiculously thick hair, and if it's dry and I leave it down then it poofs up and no matter what I try and do to fix it it looks terrible. It's just too bulky. I don't usually put it up all the way, but I absolutely have to at least put it half-up every day, like in my picture.
I rarely keep my hair loose when I go to school or when I'm at home. I keep my hair in a ponytail almost all the time. And I keep my hair loose when I go to bed and maybe once a month if I feel like it. But usually I don't. But when I do it's because I want to sort of "hide" from others...
I prefer my hair down too but I have long and thick hair so having them always down is way too warm sometimes. And annoying to have them in my face too. That's why I put them in a bun or ponytail sometimes. More comfy that way
Im a guy but i love wearing a ponytail. It gets annoying in the wind without a pony tail too. Lol

My hair is thick so I get hot quick. And it gets in my face a lot so I just hate having it in the way xD
Yeah, hair can get annoying when it's constantly in your face, plus it is much cooler to put it up in hot weather.
Typically is easier to deal with up and outta your face.
I have long hair so sometimes I'll put it up when it is really hot outside. If I leave it down it'll feel hot & it's just uncomfortable & annoying.
It just gets in your way! And it's so annoying at times, like sports or something with activity. Or you don't want to deal with it that day so you put it up.
I only put it up if I'm at the gym or the pool, 95% of the time it's down.
We just feel too hot at times especially around the neck area.
It can be because they don’t want to do anything with it, but leaving it down after just waking up is generally a bad idea. But it does get annoying, especially when windy.
