Why do girls hate ginger guys and find them repulsive?

So I have this friend and he’s very good looking. He’s 6’2 hazel eyes, great lean fit body, red hair, nice straight white smile and everything. He’s in fact a model and most people find male models to be stuck up and arrogant but not him. He’s very kind and friendly but overlooked simply because he has red hair. He takes care of himself and has a great personality but overlooked where as women would rather be with a less attractive man who’s fat and isn’t healthy etc. Why is red hair such a turn off for most women? How is it seen in South America? Do women there like redheads? What’s so repulsive about them?
