I don't know I was wondering the same thing. I guess it's because she's pretty short and also that look she goes for--the high ponytail makes most women look younger than their age (because it creates an imaginary vertical line with your face)
When she leaves her hair down she looks a bit older but only a tiny bit

@booksugar Or the people in their high school looked old. In my high school most people looked like middle schooler (and I was one of the worst for that XD).

It can be too because a lot of high school wear a tons of make up which make them look much older than what they're truly so they have a wrong image of what a high schooler girl truly look like.

Yea same here. I think we were the last generation that had that "awkward middle school" phase and looked younger than their age.
Now most high schoolers look older than their age. For example, Kaia Gerber and Maddie Ziegler are fashion icons on most sites at just 16. It's not just the makeup, it's their whole style
Personally I think it's stupid because you have your whole life to be an adult but you can't be young again

I totally agree with you, child now want to look like adult and most parents let them do it, I remember how I dressed in middle school now that would be elementary student who dress like that. I looked so much like a child even in high school. Personally I loved being a child and enjoyed it as much as I was able to do.

@booksugar Where I live we either had adidas or nike. The cooler had nike air max and the other small adidas.
Personally I was always in adidas or lacoste tracksuit with nike shoes. It was a very common style where I'm from.

I don't know, in my country Adidas only became popular in 2016. Until then we had Nike, Puma and Converse. I always considered Lacoste too expensive

Personally I like the 90's style that is now in fashion better (off the shoulder shirts, rompers, dungarees, mom jeans, high waisted jeans, cropped tops, ripped denims). We didn't have all that when I was 15
