Why is it every woman I’ve met that was born in the 60’s or 70’s absolutely hates their bodies?
Like, my mom isn’t even overweight but here she is trying to lose weight with ozempic despite how nauseous it makes her. I know she only did it because my grandmother told her to lose weight (as if she doesn’t weigh 70 pounds more than my mom does). I never heard of her, but looked her up and I wouldn't say she looks 12 or 13. In fact in the picture below I would guess she is in her early 30s.

I will say, however, that Asian women (particularly Chinese, Japanese and Southeast Asian women) and some Hispanic women tend to look younger than their chronological age. With Asian women I think some of it is about their diet. Most Asian diets are very healthy and so the women keep their slim youthful bodies. And they also mostly have more feminine delicate bone structures.

Some of it may be lifestyle, but I think most of it is genetic.

She doesn't look 12-13 to me but she does look younger than her age. Lots of Latinas look a few years younger than they are, most people have also thought my age around 5 years younger than I am. When I was 20 most people that didn't know me thought I was around 15.

I suppose so? No clue which genes they are though, or if its just more active or less active versions of the same genes in older looking people. I basically don't age. At 55 I'm still gonna look 15 to most people.

I keep seeing studies claiming its this or that gene but it changes all the time so I think they are just guessing.

I do know that habits and diet affect gene expression, but it seems that people have different nutritional and activity level needs, so one person's junk food is another's healthfood. This makes anti-aging methods a bit trial and error for each person, but I've learned if you males you feel physically uncomfortable even a little bit, don't do it, just do the things that make you feel amazing, and that seems to work well.
