Question: "What does the Bible say about tattoos / body piercings?"
Answer: The Old Testament law commanded the Israelites, “Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the LORD” (Leviticus 19:28). So, even though believers today are not under the Old Testament law (Romans 10:4; Galatians 3:23–25; Ephesians 2:15), the fact that there was a command against tattoos should raise some questions. The New Testament does not say anything about whether or not a believer should get a tattoo.
We do have this command in 1 Peter 3:3–4: “Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.” Granted, this passage is directed at Christian women, but there is a principle here that may be apropos: namely, a person’s external appearance should not be the focus of our attention. Much effort goes into “elaborate hairstyles” and “fine clothes” and jewelry, but that’s not where a woman’s true beauty lies. In the same way, tattoos and body piercings are “outward adornment,” and we should be careful to give more effort to the development of the “inner self,” regardless of our gender.
In relation to tattoos and body piercings, a good test is to determine whether we can honestly, in good conscience, ask God to bless and use that particular activity for His own good purposes. “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31). The New Testament does not specifically command against tattoos or body piercings, but it also does not give us any reason to believe God would have us get tattoos or body piercings.
An important scriptural principle on issues the Bible does not specifically address is if there is room for doubt whether it pleases God, then it is best not to engage in that activity. Romans 14:23 reminds us that anything that does not come from faith is sin. We need to remember that our bodies, as well as our souls, have been redeemed and belong to God. Although 1 Corinthians 6:19–20 does not directly apply to tattoos or body piercings, it does give us a principle: “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own

If you are considering getting one you can get these awesome fake ones on Amazon, gets you a realistic self image of what you will look like.
I personally LOVE them. As you can probably see in my picture, my nose is pierced :D I don't see how there can be so much hate on a little gem or ring.
First hand no one's ever been negative to me about it and I've never been turned down from a job etc.
I felt I had a big nose and now I love my nose all thanks to the little ring :)
Not a fan, but that's just because I'm kinda conservative when it comes to piercings. I only really like ears that are pierced, nothing else. But I don't think less of people who do have piercings, because that's their choice. I think people look better without them, but also not exactly horrible with them. I'm kinda neutral as long as someone doesn't have like 5 different piercings all over their face.
Ouch!
I just had mine reprierced last year because I missed having it. I like them obviously, although I have just gone for a small stud this time. I used to wear a small ring.
I also think they look hot as fuck on guys... Some guys obviously... Not all.
I don't like them. We'd probably break up because I doubt I'd be the same person around her, show the same level of attraction, want to look at her. I'd probably grow distant and not want to look at her. Deep down I'd probably think why am I with someone who did a "bait and switch" on me... catch me with goods "A" just to switch to goods "B" after she gets me, I'd be troubled that she's one of these girls into this stupid "poke holes in your body", follow the "hip" crowd, monkey see, monkey do, crap.
Either I'd get sick of being with her or she'd get sick of the change in me.
I think at this point, people are better off, paying attention to improving their behavior and attitude because every style and trend has been exhausted, not unless you pierce your hamstring or foot, not sure if anything speaks to anyone’s individuality really anymore.
However, if you really ask yourself, what makes someone special and attractive, it’s how they make other people feel in their presence, now what they can do to their look, to be more noticeable right?

I don’t like them in general really some are okay, I prefer a small stud to a ring
I'd prefer not but the don't bother me as much as other areas. It's hard to say if they add or take away from attractiveness... I would say they might add to attactiveness if they were small and in one nostril. I find piercing that go through both nostrils to be tacky
I am not a big fan of piercings and tattoos. I just don't find it that appealing to change my body that much. I have also given up dying my hair. I think I just like my body as natural as possible. It's preference though, and I don't really care if anyone else does it. That's their body.
Not generally in favour of piercings particularly not in the face
Along with tattoos it kinda screams I want to be non conformist and express my individuality the same way everyone else does
Of course not all things are equal some piercings look worse than others the one on the picture isn't terrible at leastThat kind of nose piercing in the picture is okay but I think nose studs are cuter and look more attractive. Overall I would prefer a girl that doesn't have any nose piercings or a girl with a nose stud.
Extreme nose piercings and septum piercings are a huge turnoff.Still debating on getting one cause I’m fraid it will hurt bad or worse than my helix. My tongue didn’t even hurt as bad as my cartilage being done 😭 but depends on your nose if you can pull it off
Personally I would never, ever consider having one, I think and feel that they look absolutely dreadful.
I say no to piercings generally, and any piercings in sensitive areas, like the mouth, nose, or genitals. No. Just no. I don't like pricings and I don't think they're attractive.
I have my nose pierced. I think it’s cute on me. It’s cute on some people, but it doesn’t look good on everyone.
I guess it depends on the person, The girl in the picture is beautiful and it doesn't detract from her beauty. I definitely wouldn't have one. It's girly and I would get punched in the nose sooner or later, anyways.
They are hot! I mean, if ever there was an ornaments to rule all ornaments, it is the nose ring.
It adds just the right amount of intrigue to the face and absolutely insane amounts of sensuality.
It's a winner. The right ones are cute but I also think that depends on the girl because not all of them can pull these off and still look good sometimes they just look worse. I'm not saying it makes them look ugly, they just look like they shouldn't have it
Depends on what you get a stud not bad, or s loop but no on bridge of a nose look like a bull. I think it looks kinda trashy.
Nose piercings are one of the traditional piercings. Nothing wrong with them but a lot depends what you wear in them. They only look good with something subtle and also the nose has to be pretty or cute.
I have one. Not for fashion purpose but it is part of my culture. My boyfriend appreciates it 😊
Yeah but not the septum piercing, that depends on your face
What is the point of it? Its useless in my opinion.
I'm not that fond of them...
But if it's on a girl that I really like then I probably wouldn't care...I love it. I have two on one side! With other people I think you have to have the right face for it.
The picture is fine. Those septums piercings though.. reminds me of a cow. Mooooooo
