What do guys think of girls one piece swimsuits?

So I saw this click bait article on Facebook about guys thinking girls wear one pieces because they are insecure. Guys, do you really think this? What else do you think of one pieces? Girls, why do you or don't you wear a one piece?

I think it depends on the girl’s body type. A girl recently told me she only wears one piece suits because she has very large breasts and it secures them better than bikini tops. As far as I could tell she was not insecure at all just being more cautious about a wardrobe malfunction. Personally like like a one piece if it’s cut/designed well. For example if it has high cut sides that go over the hips and/or low cut at the breasts to show a little side boob, that can be more sexy than just seeing lots of skin from a bikini. Leaving something to the imagination can be very sexy. So I don’t think girls who wear one pieces are always insecure. I think girls wear them for all kinds of reasons.

I wear both bikinis and one piece swimsuits and think that they are both comfortable. I think that there are many perks to wearing one piece suits. While it’s true that people who feel insecure can find refuge with the extra fabric, there are also plenty of cute styles that have cut out designs to highlight what features you want while covering others.
Plus, I like how easily one piece suits can transition from the pool or beach to a more dressed up look. I usually wear an outfit with a one piece suit if I intend to do something before or after a swim but still want to look dressed enough for the occasion.

I used to do lifeguarding and swim team so I have always preferred and felt more comfortable wearing a one piece. Less wardrobe malfunctions, i can swim faster, no stress about how I look, I just swim and have fun. And I don't care about tans because I just burn anyway..

Its about whatever is most comfortable. I've had tops come untied haha that's embarrassing. But I also like being able to just pull my bottoms down if I have to go to the bathroom vs getting completely naked Haha so I dont Care what guys think about the sexy factor!!

First of all, I don't think it shows insecurity, it just shows that the girl is more modest.

For me personally, sexy isn't always about showing loads of skin and one-piece swimsuits can be sexier than bikinis a lot of the time for me.

The extra coverage of the midsection just leaves the mind to wonder about the beauty that lies underneath. They really hug the ass and make the curves and boobs look gorgeous. Not to mention all the attractive and flattering patterns. I still find bikinis attractive, but there is just something about one-pieces for me that has my head-turning.

Fashion is fashion. Don't care if my lady wears one or the other. Most women who have a few xtra pounds usually wear them to hide their weight. You don't want to see spare tires rolling down the beach do you ? That goes for you guys too !! For crying out loud, put on a tshirt and get on the treadmill. These girls don't think your huge gut is sexy.

I don't know why girls wear one pieces. They're not as attractive to men as a two peice on average.

I know it's not women's job to constantly impress men but you'd think in a place like the beach where they are completely on display they would try and look their best.

It's true though that one peice swimsuits are a safer option if you want to hide more of your body.

I prefer ripped and braided type one pieces with slits and cut outs. I feel like I'm able to respect my modesty cuz I'm not just wearing a thing and two eye patches, but I can still feel super sexy because of the style PLUS with a one piece I never have to worry about it flying off and I'm a diver who enjoys interplay so that's important.

Depends on the one piece swimsuit. It might make them seem more modest. But some one piece suits are much hotter than bikinis. That being said if you aren't trying to pick up someone with your body, pick what ever swimsuit is best for swimming. That's confidence right there.

In my country, one pieces seem to be the go especially for the older folks. I've seen younger women in two pieces at the beach but I've never seen an older woman in a two piece and I can't imagine anyone here fantasising about it either.
I have never seen a devoutly religious girl in a bikini.

I think that originally a swimsuit was intended to be used when one goes swimming. I might be wrong. Whatever feels right - is right. If my motivation is somewhere else, I can still go to the meat counter at the supermarket.
