I want to cut my hair to a medium length because it is thinning from a medication I am temporarily on. I have felt for a long time now that my attractiveness is directly connected to the length of my hair. I feel like if my hair is shorter than being past my breasts, that I won't be nearly as sexy. I feel like this affects my self-worth. I feel like if I am not desired by men that I'm useless.

I will give you a testimony right here. My girlfriend is Asian and she recently got the typical Asian short girl hair style. She's hot as HELL even when she got longer hair. Its all what compliments you. Find a short hair style that complements your personality type. Rock that shit and embrace it.

This ties into looks, looks is not entirely what we look for. Personality makes up the majority of the package because it doesn't matter if a girl looks hot, if she's a flaring bitch, there's little to be desired other than perhaps casual sex. Be who you are and don't be afraid of it. You carry around a baggage of self esteem, you must fight to rid of that. A majority of the things my girlfriend gets anxious over about herself is not really worth. I believe you to be a girl deserving of a guy to lead you towards a life of proving all the things you were worried about to be false. Its a life I fought for with my girlfriend.

It is ingrained in society that women with longer hair are of higher social class. It all started thousands of years ago when aristocrats and royalty started becoming a thing. Most women were peasants with jack shit for hair care and they didn't have time for it anyway. Long hair was basicly a "fuck you" to poor people. Depends on the guy's preference, BUT some women look astonishingly good with short/medium hair. Some even manage to pull off buzz-cut sides. If you go to a professional stylist, they could give you recommendations.

Go for medium or little short, not very short. That's what i will recommend. :)
