What do you think of women who dress in vintage clothing?

Question

I love vintage fashion but my family makes fun of me when I wear it saying I look like a grandma. I'm not talking pinup necessarily, I mean like long wool skirts and cute cardigans but still within 1950's style. More like what average people would wear back then. I posted pictures of the kind of things that inspire me below.

If they're hot/pretty, then I think they're hot/pretty. If they aren't, then I don't.

... That's about it. The clothing is cool but wouldn't get my notice if the girl wearing it wasn't physically attractive.

Vintage fashion is beautiful! Unfourtanetly it'd be considered odd to see someone dressed these ways today. But I'm a big fan of it honestly. Such nice modest styles!

I don’t like 50s stuff but i do try to wear as many 60s and 70s styles as I can. Too bad for the male commenters the stuff is about as skimpy as stuff is today (especially in the 70s)

The vintage clothes are awesome! I love how everyone dressed back then! I wish we could keep most of the things from back then going. The clothes, cars, music, and principles of back then. Without the racism or sexism obviously lol.
