Honestly, I see many more young girls trying too hard than I see older women. Either way, I think it says more about society's poor expectations than anything else.
You have a fantastic point
If they can pull it off and can afford it, hey why not?
Let them enjoy their life...😄
I think it looks ridiculous

I don’t see what age has to do with anything - except people my age seem more comfortable using age as an excuse to walk around wearing crap.
( I see hideous outfits I don’t like looking at— I still defend their right to wear it)
The answer saying women are desirable or trying to hold on- bullshit. People wear what they wear bc they like it. Just bc someone wow thinks they shouldn’t wear it Doesn’t mean they have any insight into why they wear it... If someone has a certain style they like and soent a bunch of money on their clothing over the years and they have the same body they had when they bought the wardrobe in the first place why should they stop wearing their own clothing. They like it. It’s they’re they should wear it. Do you throw away your furniture every decade bc the style Doesn’t suit your” age”.
A person can look good or horrible in what they wear at any age and being young doesn’t mean they have a nice body nor good taste in clothes and who asked the fashion nazis for their opinion anyhow.🙄
I'm definitely not a fan of just "giving up" and wearing polyester pants and mumu's just because the dial on your age reads a certain number, however, even a 20 year old can look tacky or classless in something in the same way a 60 year old can. Dressing your age does not have to always be this bad thing, but it's about finding that balance where an outfit is stylish and perhaps altered to you as opposed to just wearing something because you can. That advice goes to everyone or every age.
It's sad reading all the ageist comments here
I believe there's no age limit to fashion (as long as you aren't 70). If you have the body and look good in an outfit, then by all means go for it. Of course there are some clothes that are too tacky/revealing but that's for any age (eg. I'm 22 and I don't like yoga pants/crop tops)
by the way the outfit the woman on the pic is wearing is fine. It's just the combination with fried blonde bimbo hair, fake tan, stilettos and that handbag make it look tacky
With a different style, it would be fine
One can only wish to be a badass Diva still when you're no longer youthful. i think it's really nice seeing oldering woman dressing young still i seen an older woman once she had to be in her 60's but she was dressed so nice still and Her makeup was glam af she's honestly my goals i really wish i could look. good. like that when im older.
I think most people regardless of gender suits better dressing like their age, but some people can suit dressing younger too. It really depends on the person. I think it's up to people what they wants to wear.
I do honestly think it's often worse when elderly men dress youthful than women. Women clothing are often designed in a way where much of the clothing can suit several age groups. It's some elderly women who suits a bright colored dress or clothing like the woman on the first picture in your question. It's however not many men who suits wearing baseball caps, football t-shirt and shorts when they're elderly; 50+. Teenage fashion nowadays are quite similar to young adult (20 - 30) fashion. As long it's mainstream and not any alternative or extreme style, it won't be a disaster.
Kris Jenner is an older woman and she can suit wearing young people fashion many times.
Live and let live. Whatever people need to do to find their happiness let it be, so long as it’s harmless. I’m pretty sure happy people embrace that in others. It seems it’s the more negative or insecure people that tend to be super judgmental about such things.
Although i may not like how a person dresses and i would never dress the same way their age or my age, i wouldn't say to that person to dress differently using abusing language. Always have respect because this shows who you are as a person. I may approach the person and ask them about their style and why they choose to dress a certain way. I may offer an advice, but that's it. People should dress the way they want and if that makes them happy so be it. At the end of the day it's you that has to feel good in your skin and you don't have to apologize to anybody for your taste in fashion or etc. Be free and embrace yourself. Amen 🖤
I think it's great. I love when people stay young at heart. I'm a perfect example of this. The way I see it is just because I'm older doesn't mean I'm dead yet or have to lose the person I've always been. When you stay young at heart you don't for get how to have fun. And the more fun you have in life the less bitter you get when you're older.
I don’t really care, but sometimes it can look out of place and inappropriate and other times it can look appealing and sexy. It all depends on the woman and what she’s specifically wearing, but at the end of the day, it’s her clothing choices and I can’t say I really care to any major extent.
It's laughable but, it's sad too. I mean, whatever happened to a woman maturing with grace? I look at my Mom, she's still a pretty blonde, she dresses her age group, early fifties. I think that's what makes her look stunning still, she also didn't worship the sun like so many of her friends did and she has naturally great skin that makes her look a good ten years younger. I sure hope I'm that lucky with the growing older gracefully genes!
I think it depends on what they choose to wear. I don't believe that girls should be required to wear clothes that they need to accept their age but they need to select something that can look non tacky. For example, t-shirt and blue jeans can be worn at any age and still look fun and good, but certain fashions clearly don't transfer well between ages. I think it's all about knowing what looks good on you. Not what society thinks but what you think
Don’t see anything wrong with that. Kriss Jenner do it all the time and that’s look good on her, despite that she’s a grandma

Extremely unattractive. It so very sexy when an older woman embraces her age. That doesn't mean wearing the clothes of an old woman, but wearing things that a 20 year old would wear doesn't make them look younger, it makes them look out of place.
I guess it depends. Is it a 50 year old woman wear jucy sweats with a thong sticking out in effort to look young and hot? or is it a 50 year old woman tastefully wearing modern trends that are usually reserved for those younger? Not trying to look young and sexy, just expressing a sense of style, still attractive. A mature woman can still rock skinny jeans and a off the shoulder top the same as a 20 year old.
There are many conformities especially on thus subject. If you are a good judge of character and dress then you could see if it appears appropriate. There are people who in most cases because of their physique style and appearance can get away with such styles.
What about men (cross dressers) in the 40,50, and older dress like young 20 something female prostitute. For women, I think it fine as long as they go too far. As for cross-dressing men they need to dress their age, so they blend in better, or otherwise they stick out like a busted arm on a stunt man.
Guess they are trying to stay young but are just making a joke of them self. Some make the young girls cry, but these make them laugh.
Everyone has the right to dress however they want. You can’t judge a person by how they dress. Example look at Madonna she’s in her mid 50’s you think she gives a single fuck what anyone thinks? Nope! Nada. Live a little. Stop being a hater!!
Great answer.
As long as it's not inappropriate, I don't care. Weird, but find. The bottom one looks a bit more presentable than the one on top. Looks like she had plastic surgery. Sorry, just being honest.
There are old clothes and young clothes? Wow, I had no idea. But it doesn't matter anyway, because when I look at someone, I don't look at their clothes, I look at their souls. Well, not when I'm horny of course, cause when I'm horny, I look at other things.
People should dress and do their hair and make-up however the fuck they want.
Mutton dressed as lamb Joan Collins looked sexy dressed in her 60s I prefer older breasts nipples more prominant and l love saggy tits. hate big hard tits. best of luck to older ladies 60+ if you got flaunt it. i recommend to any young guy date older woman 50+ and be loved. i did at 15 along time ago loved her
Age has no style, as long as they keep it classy I don't see the issue and actually root for older women who don't like their age effect the person they are and way of expression
These pictures are not the best examples.
However my beliefs is that clothing should be age and context aligned. Not that an older woman needs to dress like an old maid, but it's possible to combine age appropriateness with fashion sensibility.
I have an older sister who does not follow this at all. She's in her 50's and still shops at stores targeted to 21 year old girls. He clothing choices look ridiculous and desperately trying to reclaim her youth. Don't make that mistake.
I see no problem as long as it isn't something like minion quotes or something retarded
I think it doesn't look that bad! Plenty of older women still look amazing and bold despite dressing younger than what they are.
I don’t see why old people should be limited to ugly shirts, stiff pants, and grandma jewelry.
Honestly let them. Just because you have a few wrinkles doesn't mean you have to dress like an old person.
Really old broads it is disgusting but if someone in their early 40s does it it is not too bad because a lot of them are still hot I worked with someone in her mid 40s and she is hotter than some girls 10 years younger and every guy on our shift liked her just when you get really old broads doing it I cannot even look at them without being sick
If they can rock the outfit, it doesn't matter. But the pic you posted is a bad example, fake tan and dyed blonde hair looks tacky on anyone, no matter their age.
Girl got a point 🤟
Some don't look to bad and other should give it away.
I would find it weird if my grandma and granddad would start wearing teenage clothing. But I would accept them if they decided to do it all of the sudden. It would be kind of a funny story to tell people how my grandparents have so young souls. :)
A lot of these older women are taking the modeling world by storm! Not all of us look delapitated. 👍❤️
YOLO!! I personally love it and sometimes I find it cute LOL
If they feel comfortable it makes them happy, why not.
Their choice... especially if they still can do it... i mean if their bodies still let them do it...
Many women in 15-35 have youth but have no perfect bodies
She still quite thin, so she can afford it, and not like she wearing something very provocative, at least one of my mother's friends is dressing in a similar way. :)
Cute! It's nice to know that old ladies are feeling confident and youthful
I'm only 51
Well, really a lot of people are old to me, since I'm pretty damn young
It's fine if the clothes are stylish and fit, and they aren't wearing juvenile clothing (e. g. Hello Kitty).
I mean it can be kinda ew... But I also don't really care. Who am I to tell someone else how to dress?
I don't really care how other people dress. People are free to do whatever they want.
I'm 51 and can dress however I want.
In this picture the transgender flag is draped around me and I'm waving an asexual flag.
Younger: fine!
Red jumpsuit pared with bleached hair and an inch thick layer of makeup: ugly on any age!
u go girl, keep that girl mojo going! don't over do it, keep it classy! I think top is great, lower not so much.
I think everyone has to dress their age. You can be old and dress modern but applied to your age and viceversa. Not taht a old woman will like to fit in a super miini skirt and she ends up looking like ridiculuous
I guess they can if they want. I'd still think it's a little weird.
I think it's ridiculous. They should dress according to their age and accept that they're no longer young.
They look weird to me.
I wouldn't mind them but I would wonder why they want to look that young while everything about them shows their age.
It's kinda sad. Especially when their perfume smells like desperation
If they've got the body for it, then why not show it off? I've seen women in their 50s who had great bodies to the point that I thought they were in their late 20s or early 30s. Especially Asian women; they tend to age gracefully.
I see nothing wrong with it if they are wearing adult clothes, dressing as a teenager though would be weird. Old men shouldn't have to dress like a grandpa either. However those examples above look pretty bad.
My mom is age able and dresses young but she has been blessed with good genes and looks young so.
Let people be happy the way they are so long as they're not harming others.
Nothing. They ain't hurting nobody cos of that so i really dont see a reason why id care about it.
I see them as someone who can't accept they're not young anymore. Instead of dressing classy like a ladies, they end up looking stupid
My big issue with it is when we have someone in their 50's or 60's trying to dress like they are going clubbing.. it just looks gross to me.. if they want to dress like that, fine, but still gross.
Possible. It's more like there are some women that know they should not wear stuff like that, and yet they do it anyway.
Nothing. My mom does it all the time, though she looks young in face
If they have the body for it, then I say go for it. Most don't though... dress for the body you have, not the one you want.
It's like when you find left over Chinese in the fridge which might have been there for a few days but it's still good if you microwave it at a high enough temperature
Well I think some can pull it off. But for the most part be yourself.
