It would be better to be in a well ventilated room, especially if you are in the room while printing. I have my 3D Printer in my home office and generally run it in the evenings and/or nights. If I print during the day I open my door and turn my ceiling fan on low if it stinks too much (it usually doesn’t offgas too much unless you run at too high of temps or don’t keep your machine clean).
Note: You could always purchase a powered room filter as well.

No.
Not only do you risk lung cancer from styrene and ethylbenzene inhalation (depending on the type of filament you're using)
But you're also risking fire as most "home" devices are not made to any safety standards.
There is good reason you find "cheap" 3D printers
I cannot see why not. OK, it will get hot, but it should not cause damage.
I have read yesterday about the largest on in the world coming on stream. It is big enough to print houses.
Don't try and get one in your room. That would need you to have a room like "Tardis"!
In your actual bedroom/dormroom? No. The fumes/chemicals are toxic. Best keep that thing in a separate room with a door and a window.

Chances are the fumes given off by melting plastic or from resin are not good for long term exposure so I'd say no
It depends what type of plastic you're using. Some emit dangerous gasses when heated to melting temperatures.
Definitely not a resin printer. Probably not great for a filament printer either.
Keep in a separate, well ventilated room, and wear a mask with a filter when using it.
I have a big one on my bed in my camper. It hasn't killed me yet lol
You need proper ventilation so you're not breathing fumes from melting plastic
Hope you like unsolicited dick sculptures
Plastic fumes aren't especially healthy.
Sure. Why wouldn't it be?
I’ve never used one. Why wouldn’t it be safe?
Depends what you want to print... 🙈🙊🙉
Yes, but I would unplug it when I wasn't using it
Just keep out the anus.
No, not at all.
Yes but keep it in a ventilated area.
So what is the punchline?
yes.
WHY EXACTLY WOULDN'T IT BE
Sure why not
