Is this a good outfit to wear to my boyfriend's family's Christmas dinner?

Is this a cute look, or a recipe for disaster in a potentially overheated house?

That's nice and adequate for the situation. I only dislike the turtle neck but because I'm a hater of turtle necks, they make me feel some kind of small distress and feel I need to free my neck. Also because I have the fixation to never let underclothes to be visible under upperclothes. But that's just my obssesion, I guess you could ask your partner how warm is usually his house and see what's he wearing to addecuate so you don't freeze but neither sweat. So if it's too warm there maybe you could either not wear the leggins or/and change the turtle neck for one without sleeves, a tshirt or a vest shape shirt. Or you could change in their bathroom and quit something when you are there if that's not too weird for them.

Thanks for your advice!! If I could change out the turtleneck I would, but it's a scratchy sweater and I can't do scratchy arms lol... changing is a good idea but honestly I would feel pretty weird doing it. So I either go for this full outfit, or think of something else. I like how it looks, do you think I'm just overthinking this and shouldn't worry about getting too hot?

I get what you say about scratchy arms, that's pretty uncomfortable. Better keep a top with sleeves, you must try to be as comfy as possibe. I think your worry is normal, you don't want to be sweating and feeling uncomfortable, but as I don't know how hot or cold is there I can't tell. When I don't know the temperature in a place I just try to wear many layers and put it off or on depending on how I feel. Maybe if the top under the sweater look nice you could take off the sweater only in case the house temperature is too hot.
