It must be annoying to have to shave every other day and worry about cuts and pimples that might be where you need to shave.

I have gone through a lot of beard phases. When it's stubble it's a little prickly and somewhat itchy. When it's a short beard you can't really notice it, as the hairs soften up preventing itchiness and discomfort. When it's long it's the worst. Not looks wise because I've been told I look really good with it longer but it just sucks to have. The hair constantly sheds getting into all my meals, it's itchy most of the time, and having coarse beard hair makes it impossible to maintain.

Overall it does wonders to my appearance. So it's great having it.

No shave every day some have to do it twice. Cuts happens only, if you do it drunk, blunt razor or just stupid.
It does not feel to much to me like hair on head it is just there...

Beard I never liked it, you have to look like homeless for a month to grow it to look like something then all looking after it and bits of food stuck there... Itchy skin

Not all man can have full nice looking one, some have it growing in patches...

I mean, we don't HAVE to shave every other day. For some of us older, more homely-looking fellows, having a beard is like makeup for men. I've heard that's why Abe Lincoln grew his. You might not care for beards being so young, but maybe that'll change someday.

Feels great, especially when it's so long like mine, that you can plait it "like vikings and shiiieeett duuude!!".

Despite all of today's hipsters, corporate western culture still dominates, and guys like me also get lots and lots and lots of jealousy from other guys too pussy to grow theirs, especially the baby faces that barely have a pube on their chins...

It's just there and you get used to it. Doesn't itch that much for me.

As for grooming, I do it once every other day.

It can be a pain as well... but I keep a goatee and shave my head.. so I shave regardless When I kept my hair and had a full beard You still need to groom, but not everyday

Sometimes it's itchy and food can get trapped in it. But for the most part, you just kinda forget it's there.
