Take it from a ZZ Top level of bearded manliness; beards won't turn you into action men, they won't make you supreme fighters (unless you train), they don't magically make you able to lift superhuman levels of weight, they don't make us "God's"... They can't make you pick up 9's and 10's just 'cos you got a manly mane...

But beards are, for most men with healthy T levels, a natural part of being a *MAN*, and does greatly alter our appearances compared to being baby faced clean shaven. Couple that with naturally long hair, we look and feel more like our primal selves.

I was raised "old skool", thinking clean shaven (cut throat razors) and military buzz cuts was the shit. Then one day grew it out for a couple months, shaved once more... And it just felt *wrong* on so many levels...

No that's silly. I do notice though i seem to get more respect when i let my facial hair grow in. So while i don't think it makes me more of a man i feel i get treated like more of one.

Eh that doesn't make sense. A beard doesn't determine your masculinity, besides some guys have an amazing jawline and a broad chin which is super masculine enough already.

Yeah it is, when you get a beard and have it for a while just to shave it, you might feel like a 12 year old for the first few days but its completely normal.

There are guys who feel better shaved and those that feel better with facial hair. Some guys feel good either way. Personally I feel better without facial hair be it a mustache, soul patch, goatee or a beard.

It depends on your chin shape. A strong jawline will look good with a shaven beard. A thin jawline will make the man look more feminine.
