+1 yTake it from a ZZ Top level of bearded manliness; beards won't turn you into action men, they won't make you supreme fighters (unless you train), they don't magically make you able to lift superhuman levels of weight, they don't make us "God's"... They can't make you pick up 9's and 10's just 'cos you got a manly mane...
But beards are, for most men with healthy T levels, a natural part of being a *MAN*, and does greatly alter our appearances compared to being baby faced clean shaven. Couple that with naturally long hair, we look and feel more like our primal selves.
I was raised "old skool", thinking clean shaven (cut throat razors) and military buzz cuts was the shit. Then one day grew it out for a couple months, shaved once more... And it just felt *wrong* on so many levels...00 Reply

Eh that doesn't make sense. A beard doesn't determine your masculinity, besides some guys have an amazing jawline and a broad chin which is super masculine enough already.

+1 yYes, because people think men are manly men if they have a beard, so once it is shaved you may feel that go away

+1 yYeah it is, when you get a beard and have it for a while just to shave it, you might feel like a 12 year old for the first few days but its completely normal.

+1 yThere are guys who feel better shaved and those that feel better with facial hair. Some guys feel good either way. Personally I feel better without facial hair be it a mustache, soul patch, goatee or a beard.
00 ReplyYea, why would it be weird, it's just your personal preference.

+1 ythere's only two body parts uniquely masculine. A beard and a cock. You can't wave your cock in everyones face but you can with your beard. Show off being a man.

+1 yClean shaven beard? You mean no beard right? I hate it and yeah, feel less masculine with a freshly shaved mug.
00 Reply It depends on your chin shape. A strong jawline will look good with a shaven beard.
A thin jawline will make the man look more feminine.00 Reply
+1 yI don’t feel unmanly. It suits some guys better than others
00 ReplyYes, I recently shave mine, immediately I felt like I was being taken from behind gently while listening to James Blunt

+1 yNo. Bread or no bread makes no difference. Acting like a little punk is what makes the difference between feeling manly or not.
00 Reply Honestly I need to have the beard if not I look like I'm 14 and I'm 30 so sometimes yes the beard makes the man

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yNo. If you think facial hair makes you a man, not only are you a pussy, but you are clueless about what manly means. Beard or no beard is like brown or black hair. Personal style, completely irrelevant and not related to masculinity in any way

+1 yYes, a beard gives some men a strong jaw look and a manlier face shape.
And beards do make men manly so...10 ReplyYes, the society portray men with beards as real men.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yVery normal. In my opinion, men should have at least somewhat of a beard. Doesn't have to be real long, but, I think it's unmanly to not have facial hair
00 ReplyYes. But it doesn't necessarily mean you ARE unmanly just because you lack a beard.
00 ReplyI have a full beard so this question doesn't concern me lol
00 ReplyTbh, I don't like beard on guys at all...

Huge beards and long hair is man at his most natural state. - +1 y
Lol.
"Preferences" are more socially constructed than they are instinctive. Trust me. - +1 y
But then I'm sure you have no inclination towards having incestuous sex with your old man...
U can't have a clean shaven beard lol
