I’d like to think so. I have a small modelling portfolio from a few years ago, but my confidence dropped after I failed an audition for UK’s Top Model after going all the way to London for it.
I then realised it is a shallow industry thriving on pretension. I failed that audition above... all the while a black woman with BLUE EYES got through without a second thought from the tasteless judges.
Here’s the video of that audition which I appear in a few times (if you can spot me) 😜
I’m plenty confident in my looks, but I’m no model, haha. Some models are weird looking as fuck, lmao, and I’m glad I don’t look like them. But assuming you mean the actually attractive ones, nah, I’m not on that level, and I don’t photograph very well anyway, haha.
Depending on the humidity outside, my overall mood, and if the stars are aligned, then maybe? If it’s been a good day then I tend to feel pretty damn attractive and confident enough to strut my stuff, but if I’ve been stressed out all day, eating nothing but junk food, or my hair is uncontrollably frizzy then no way.
I literally had a celebrity, and modeling agencies looking for me to be a model for them. Naturally of course because I hate that industry I do not want to. My late mother try to get me into it though.

Well loosely defined model can be anyone whose image is used to sell a product. So in that sense you can be butt ugly and still be a model. If you are talking fashion model or ig model then like less than 1% of the population will ever make a living at it so...,
You don't have to be attractive to be a model, you have to be anorexic.
Oof, a bit harsh, no?😂
@SpiderManFan2002 isn't the truth always?
I suppose so.
I guess I just thought that because I get called anorexic a lot even though I'm not.
@SpiderManFan2002 fuck what other people think. If you know who you are they shouldn't matter.
Wow you're so tough with your wording, I've seen your opinions on here a lot and you kinda sound angry a lot.
@SpiderManFan2002 😂 I'm okay with that.
You just sound like you're ready to knock someone out most of the time, it's kinda scary😂😂
@SpiderManFan2002 I'm okay with that too.
Try not to take this answerer, seriously, people
@Cokebottle why? Don't you like to take serious issues seriously?
www.google.com/amp/s/medium.com/amp/p/35ba302eb5b2
I just can't take you seriously, lots of people on here can't
@Cokebottle well that's not my problem.
Just sayin'
@Cokebottle and that makes you feel better about yourself?
Yeah
@Cokebottle well, there you go.
It's easy to make fun of people with eating disorders isn't it?
Right though
@SketchForger yeah actually. It is.
we were being sarcastic
it's hard to, because it takes guts to. that's why we can't take people like you, seriously
You realize that most victims of anorexia are caused by Narcissistic parents right? If you even develop an eating disorder you'll understand it's physically beyond your own control without therapy, and it's kind of rude for you to talk shit about things you know nothing about.
And if you're proud of being rude, congratulations, I'm sure that will never come back to bite you.
@Cokebottle regardless of weather or not you take me seriously doesn't change the fact that I'm right.
She's proud of being a fucking asshole on here, that's why I keep telling her, noone takes her seriously here
@SketchForger aww, look at you thinking you know me. It's cute.
I am pretty cute, thank you.
And if you must be adorable, since by your own standards, you think you think you can make fun of anorexic people and feel proud of it. By your own standards, you must be an absolute fluffy puppy, since you pretend to know what victims of anorexia go through.
Sorry sis, but you gotta know when you're being ridiculous. XD
@SketchForger exactly
@I_Smell_Ducky
It is kind of rude to make fun of people with eating disorders.
I'm not condoning having eating disorders but they suffer from them because of issues such as body dysmorphia, something which they cannot help. It's like making fun of somebody in a wheelchair because they cannot walk.
@SpiderManFan2002 exactly
@SketchForger

anytime you reply, you're just going to get more hate, because you're defending hateful comments
@Cokebottle am I? It was a satirical post about how modeling promotes anorexia and an article proving my point. If people are offended by the truth that says a lot more about them than it does about me.
Imagine being so out of touch and defensive that you reply with an old meme
@SketchForger was that ever really a meme? I just posted it because it's a fair description. But if you don't like that one how about this one?
https://youtu.be/Gj-AkR8lX98
Or this one
https://youtu.be/qkA-dE0FUZ0
Or even this one
https://youtu.be/-hN2n7ElRSY
All of which prove my God damn point.
There's a difference between making a joke to prove a point and actually having a cohesive point.
You only recently started saying that it was a way of making fun of the modeling industry, to supposedly save face.
If that's what you were trying to prove, I apologize, but I want you to at least know that if you make a joke it has to make sense, or not punch down like it seemed you did.
I understand if that's what you did not mean to do, and I apologize if I caused you any stress.
There is no denying some models will suffer from disorders such as anorexia, and it's not right nobody should stop eating completely because of their profession, it's unhealthy and detrimental.
I think what the other two people are trying to say is the way you conducted your opinion could be perceived as rude and borderline offensive, even if that wasn't your intention.
What you should not have agreed to is it is easy to make fun of people with eating disorders, because of all kinds of factors, like psychological health. It isn't easy to make fun of them, because of the pain they are going through.
@SketchForger Don't cave dude
@SketchForger uh... No, if you actually read my very first god damn post the meaning is pretty clear. I also posted an article about it 20 fucking hours ago. Or did you not actually read anything before deciding that I'm a bitch?
@SpiderManFan2002 oh, for sure. I'm a total bitch. I fully accept that about myself.
@I_smell_Ducky I never said you were a bitch.
no she def. is one
@SpiderManFan2002 it's all good, I said it for you.
I'm pretty sure I didn't call you a bitch...
@SketchForger nah, but you thought it.
So you're doing exactly what that first video you posted described... Why don't you hold yourself to your own standards?
And don't get life lessons, from videos
@SketchForger it's not jumping to conclusions. It's making an informed assessment based on what you actually have said.
No way, I don't have the model-face or the model-height/body.
Funny thing is I just asked a question asking the same thing. Click my post and answer by the way you'll be impressed. Yes, I do believe I'm attractive enough to be a model and stand out from the rest of girls.
You're annoying
You keep asking the same Q over and over again and I keep telling you, NO
you're ANNOYING AF
face and personality wise, I can. I am 14, ongoing to 15 with a below average height. I'm 5ft, but my legs are longer than my tall friends. My body type is quite skinny, but I'm told that I'm "body goals". People say I am very pretty by most people, guys and girls, by adults and friends. Though, I don't think a modelling company will sign a short girl, no matter how pretty she is?
If I didn't have to show my face or body, I could be a great model.
I probably would be a good "hand" model.
Everyone is attractive enough to be a model. They need models in every shape and sizes. Plus size clothing to petite
models have long skinny legs... i got short thick legs (courtesy of squats 8) ) so no lol
If I was skinny, I think I could.. I think part of bein a model is about havin unique facial features that could be considered attractive..
No. The only model I'd be good at is a role model. And I wouldn't be too got at that either lol...
start.att.net/.../fox_news-model_starts_a_beauty_revolution_by_refusing_to_co-rfoxnews
saw that, right as I saw this question
My picture on my profile is used all over the world. My late husband painted the Harley Davidson Logo on my boobs and chest.
When I was younger, girls that were models told me I could be a model and it didn’t come with a sales pitch so I guess so.
I actually almost became a Sears model for children's clothes when I was younger. But now? Hell no. I wish.
Im 5'7 for a girl so maybe. But I don't prefer it. I dont want to be labeled as narsistic. So I should stop in like 3 seconds.
Nothing wrong with liking who you are
Maybe
Lmao is this conversation directed towards me?
I'm dying lmfao
I don't think the two are mutually binding concepts.
I was actually a model and I still don't believe I'm particularly attractive.
No, I'm not skinny enough. I dont think I'd want to be one anyway. I don't care for the lifestyle.
I'm too awkward and skinny. I'd be a terrible model.
If there was a model required who has to wear go into a foetal position and pretend he's a rock, sure. If it's about a model in the traditional sense, nah blud
*who has to go into.
Omit the 'wear'
like this? She’s a model
I bet you she was a bad bitch before she was messing with that meth
