I’m not a big fan of beards and mustaches in general (too scratchy on your kitty), but one of my exes has a beard and he looks pretty good with it. That being said, the dude in those pics looks way better in the second pic than the first.

I’ve always looked better with facial hair. I don’t look bad without it, just not good. Honestly I haven’t shaved clean since highschool. I’d grow a full beard if I could, but my cheeks still won’t fill in.

Besides, the guy in the photos doesn't just look better because of the beard. He looks to be in a lot better shape, lost the glasses, and has a better hairstyle.

My opinion is that men look better with beards because men are supposed to have beards. It grows there. Shaving it off is a lost opportunity to express yourself. It doesn't make him less manly, but it's kinda like a chick with amazing hair shaving it all off. Just seems like a waste of what God gave ya.

Makeup, beards and clothes are all the same thing - useful to improve our appearance. Some people need it more, others don't, and others should use them.

If someone looks more or less attractive without moustache or beards it's up to the viewer - there are people who look best clean shaven, others with beards, others with and without.
I personally chose the toothbrush moustache because it's neat and being so closely trimmed, it doesn't hide my features and facial expression.
