It does? I thought everyone liked makeup but then again it’s becoming used even more isn’t because of that one youtuber I don't know
I honestly don’t like it but im not gonna be a d**ckhead about it
I don't understand either. People should be able to do whatever they want to with makeup
A little doesn't hurt. It's mice when it's subtle. None is nice too. But when it's so incredibly obvious to the point where you look airbrushed, it's just a turnoff.
Never hated it, I've even learnt stuff about it, a gentleman must be well versed in every topic.
In my opinion heavy makeup looks worse, but light makeup like a blush and a eyeliner looks good
I’ll tell you why. It turns a 6 into like 9. It’s like false advertisement.
Lol. Men be saying this while they look a 3. You wish to date a girl who is as pretty as a 6.
Someone asked a question and I told you. This is what guys think. And if you don’t like how we think we even bother asking.
There are plenty of unattractive guys with nothing going on for themselves shooting conceivably higher than themselves. But that is the problem with expectation.
It’s a thing woman mainly do and if we’re out most things woman do is a problem in society we’re always watched and judged for everything we do
I've never been into make up, but I don't judge anyone who likes it. There's an art to it.
The picture creates a false dichotomy. Makeup is not an all-or-nothing proposition. There is a wide middle ground where serious flaws can be dealt with in a natural-looking way. The only two choices are not plain and mannequin-like.
Well, bcs it's just fake and makes people insecure.
You do you, but I prefer a girl to be a bit more natural. As with anything, it's ok to have your own opinion, as long as you don't hurt others by spewing it in their face; doing so makes you a dick, easy as that. Lots of dicks in the world though.
Men hate everything that women enjoy. they won’t our happiness to only come from them.
Because there's more and more being used, i dont mind makeup but when its used to cover instead of enhance thats when it gets meh. Most guys at least can't tell the difference between light makeup and no makeup and its not their fault.
Because it's fake. If you don't look good, own up to it. Be confident in your own skin.
Only from immature little boys and online trolls. Men in real life don’t care and even appreciate it.
The hate is from ugly women, who will always be jealous of good-looking women.
Not really no it’s actually bewilderment to most women in reaction to each other and a hint of curiosity.
True
People are judgmental and opinionated about everything these days. Maybe they should mind their own business.
But in this case, it's just jealousy and competition.
Be guys like girls to be make up free, they want to actually see what they might be potentially dating
Because* not Be
No it doesn't.
I'm the only one that has been hating it.
I don't know. I happily wear it whenever i want to anyway😉
Hiding behind make up can hide your true self are you putting it on for your self or for others be proud of what you are born with & if you are going to put it on just little don't plaster it on it looks retable
I don't like people who are fake as fuck
and no you don't get a pass for being female. Those days are soon coming to an end
Because some girls use it not to enhance there good looks ( which is okay ) but to hide the fact that they look terrible underneath.
it doesn't. most people couldn't care less. it's only insecure or self-obsessed people that care for this.
Because it looks fake, in a society who pushed fakeness so much everyone is disgusted by it.
Also, many men prefer natural girls, or at least the minimal amount of makeup.
Also, that feminist poster is so cringy.
Because some girls don’t feel comfortable with the no makeup look when they should
Make up clogs your pores and irritates the skin, this makes you ugly.
Makeup is for hos basically. Nobody needs more hos yuck
We don't want to get used to looking at something artificial everytime. It is just like eating fruits with refined sugar.
It doesn't get hate, people get rich and famous for putting on makeup in YouTube videos.
Because it hides your natural beauty and makes you beautiful but it's fake and temporary
It doesn't. The problem is you assholes don't get tired of posting the same question.
When makeup is worn akin to trollops unkind thoughts are engendered
Coz you are hiding your true form.
If you werent hiding, you wouldn't be bothered about this.
It's false advertising.
Yeah cuz guys actually think I naturally have gold sparkly eyelids, and airbrushed skin...
@Alpha09 Makeup overall makes girls look different from how they actually look. Have you ever seen a girl with makeup, and then all of sudden she's not wearing it the next day and she looks completely different?
Yeah except when she wears it I'm aware that that's not how she actually looks. Not false advertising, she just looks different today because she decided to put makeup on.
@Alpha09 Yeah, and it makes her look less ugly so it's false advertising and it artificially distorts her looks.
I can assure you most of us don't wake up and go "I bet josh at the office will love this foundation and highlight, he'll probably propose." Unless it's a minor amount anybody who isn't blind knows damn well she has a layer of makeup on. It's no secret. We know why she looks more attractive. False advertising is when it's really hard to tell that something isn't what it's said to be or doesn't contain what it claims and that more correctly applies to things like vitamins or fit tea.
Basically it's not meant to fool anyone.
@Alpha09 isn’t that the case when the girl takes of her paint in the evening? Guys don’t mind make up when it accentuates nice features. They don’t like it when it changes the contour of your face, nose, brows, lips etc you alter what you look like significantly and even though most know she is wearing make up its hard to say what she naturally looks like. You could look like a 9 with makeup on but once it comes off look like a 6 that’s false advertising.
Do you wear makeup?
@Alpha09 if you are taking to me I wear eyeliner and mascara and some blush. If I wanna go all out I put on some lipstick.
Do you do it because your trying to fool people into thinking your hotter than you are?
@Alpha09 reread my reply. I specifically said makeup that enhances features are generally accepted by all. They do not change said features. However when talking about too much makeup women contour away the shape of their face, brows, nose, lips, cheekbones, fake lashes, tan etc. it creates a different face.
Exactly, and when they do that it's not hard at all to see that it's makeup.
@Alpha09 you can tell they wear makeup but you cannot tell what they would look like underneath.
So? False advertising is telling everyone that's actually how you look. Nobody's advertising that they just wear a ton of makeup for whatever reason. People have a problem with it for some reason and think that a girl with a lot of makeup is trying to advertise herself as naturally having a face like that. Like she's out to impress everyone and make them think something incorrect. She probably just has major acne and it's comfortable being in public because she's been made fun of her whole life. Or Maybe she just likes being creative and really likes crazy eyeshadow and contours. Some people seem to think that what other people do in this case makeup, is for them and when they don't like how other people do it's "false advertising."
*isn't comfortable*
@Alpha09 you are just taking about the makeup being obvious when it’s about the face being unrecognizable in a lot of cases with women painting it on. Yes you can tell they wear makeup but you CANNOT know what they truly look like underneath, thus false advertising. The same goes for push up bra’s and spanx etc. it gives the illusion of a different body.
@Alpha09 makeup doesn’t help with acne, it makes it worse.
No shit it makes it worse, doesn't change my point. And yes I'm aware it unrecognizable it's not supposed to be recognizable. That's the point of really heavy make-up. Most people understand that. Hence the part where it's not false advertising, since nobody is advertising that that's actually how they look. A small amount of makeup is for everyday wear and to enhance features. In some cases it's supposed to be almost undetectable. That's it. Heavy make-up is for covering up something, insecurities, personal preferences, photoshoots or theatrical/creative purposes. And no one denies they are obviously wearing it. Or tries to pass it off as real. So whats your point?
@Alpha09 again you are not understanding what I am saying.
Open your eyes and read. People know they wear makeup that has been established a while ago. It is however false advertising if your bare face looks like cottage cheese and with makeup you pass as attractive. It’s fake. That caked on face is fake. If you go on a date with that makeup you are false advertising as that is not what you look like. A lot of women do that. Yes guys know you wear makeup but they aren’t that aware of all the techniques and products that they know what you actually look like underneath. What is there not to understand? If you have to wear heavy makeup because of your profession as an actor or whatever, whatever. But going into the dating scene like that... you are tricking people into believing you are hot. Just like those filters and special poses some fat chicks use in their dating pic online. And then wonder why a guy never called back after date one.
Honestly you would be surprised what a lot guys know about makeup these days. Doesn't mean they do makeup they are just exposed to how it works nowadays. Anyway if you're dumb enough to think someone looks that good for real when it's obvious she's got something on her face then you either need glasses or to get your head out of your ass. Nobody is tricking anyone, some people are just stupid. Then they get mad because Ashley's makeup isn't permanent, or Becca isn't as skinny as you thought because she's not posing like her photo on tinder. It's not real and most of us are aware of it. If it's not your thing don't go on dates with people who wear a lot of makeup. It's simple.
@Alpha09 🤦🏻♀️ Don’t pretend to be something you are not or risk being dumped once you show your true face. Or to get called out for being fake.
The term “false advertising” means advertising a product or service in a misleading way, to make the purchaser believe that the product or service they are buying performs better than it actually does
Product or service = your face
Misleading (makeup) in a certain way that makes the buyer (date) think that the service he is buying performs better than it actually does (looking like a 10 with makeup and a 5 without) .
I don’t think I can dumb it down for you even more.
If I see a 10 with a ton of makeup I know damn well she's probably a 6 or 7, nothing misleading about it. If you actually believe that someone looks that way and you let yourself think that's exactly how she looks naturally, or that she's trying to pass it off as her real face. And that people's faces are the same as a service or product then I doubt your head could go any further up your ass. So this conversation is pointless.
And sidenote, I can't tell if you're profile pic is supposed to be a joke or your trying to make it look like you actually have a abs...
@Alpha09 dude I gave you the definition of false advertising to try and make you see you have no idea what it means 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ No people shouldn’t assume who they are really dating and what they look like with tons of make up on are 2 different people. That doesn’t even make sense. You bring zero logic to this debate. How exhausting you must be in real life. Women with your ‘logic’ make me ashamed to be female. But whatever continue being fake and catfishing people 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ Poor dudes.
I'm seriously doubting your a woman, since the majority understand what I'm saying. It may seem like the same thing but it's not. People aren't products that you buy. That's the difference. Burgers are products we buy and often when they are advertised they look nothing like they ad when you actually get one. But we still get them don't we? Even tho we are aware it's not gonna be the same as the one in the advertisement we still go get them, and nobody gets pissed. Because we know exactly what we are getting. If you actually think your going to get what is on the bill board your an idiot.
And honestly yes if you go on a date thinking she has perfect skin and a perfect ten with 1 inch long lashes then poor you. I can't imagine being that dumb.
@Alpha09 but regardless it remains false advertising. And yes people will still buy that burger because at McDonald’s there is no other choice and it’s cheap.
There are real women and real beauties out there, not all women are fake and hide behind tons of makeup. Men are attracted to beautiful people and feel cheated it’s all fake. The majority of women have a go get girl attitude on here and those who actually would agree with you are the ones who are fake themselves. Most guys however think it’s fake and wrong in the dating scene 🤦🏻♀️. Oh I’m a woman and I don’t have to fake it ;)
Whatever floats your boat and works for your opinion dude.
I only hate excesive makeup. Id rather see what you actually look like espicially if we are spending time together.
It protects the skin. Really.
Wear it so that your skin can remain healthy longer.
Because some make up designs make girls look like drag queens
Good make up looks great! Badly done make up.. half an inch thick.. is a total turn off
Girls concentrate on make up rather than perfecting their personality
I personally consider it fraud like lying about age or signing your name Dr or wearing medals bought off eBay, etc.
It's fake as fuck when we are supposed to be about body positivity.
Look at your picture? We have nasty ugly white pigs pretending to be hot. Pouring makeup all over an ugly face
this is y you have to do everything for yourself!! ignore eevveerryybody else😤
Because how much it's used. Having too much on is worse than having none on.
Your born without makeup why add chemicals to a already beautiful face
Because people now-a-days are more towards plastic surgery. You can give yourself a mesmerizing look through fillers and other cosmetic treatments and also it's a one time cost, not need to purchase every single day.
Not makeup, some natural looking makeup is great. Fake looking, over the top makeup is judged cause it looks fake, and slutty.
There is no love. Don’t expect anything good out of mouths
Becuase yo bitches are looking for a reall man while everything about you id fake
People are dissatisfied and jealous.
why do you care? wear it if you want to or don't
Actually, it always did.
Because it's a literal scam.
sensitive ugly people that make up can't help
Because too many people are too extra with it.
Well, honestly a lot of you use way too much.
Because it's fake and not you
Still angry? Find a Cause.
Just my observation, but it seems to me that the purpose of make-up was and has always been to hide minor 'flaws' and accentuate a person's facial beauty. NOT to do 'plastic' surgery and become someone else!
I like seeing a woman all natural.
Nothing is wrong with wearing make up
