What is the best haircut for naturally high arch hair around the ear?

I would like to get a haircut but every time I get one I think it is weird looking since the hair around my ears is naturally high. I know it is not normal since in school I sometimes got made of it. Is there a certain haircut on the sides I should be getting or should I just keep growing it out?
