What does it feel like to wear a massive ball gown dress?

I was just wondering what it’s like to wear one of those massive ball gown dresses that like puff out and are really wide? Also how do those dresses keep those shapes could I would of thought they would just fall down?

I’ve worn a gown before for prom but not that that poofy. Yikes. It makes you feel like a princess ☺️ but it’s hard to walk up and down stairs and sometimes people step on your dress. It is heavy too.

Yeah I thought that one looked very poofy hahaha!! Yeah it must be pretty hard to work cause you can’t see your feet right hahaha, also the bathroom can’t be to fun. When you say heavy do you mean like you can feel it on your shoulders or?

Heavy as in weight. The gown itself drags you lol and it is very stuffy. Also when you’re carrying the gown (not wearing it) it is much heavier than your typical dresses

Yeah that’s still pretty big though hahaha, you said that other people step on your dress but can you step on your own dress with it being that far out?

I’ve only stepped on my dress if on the stairs

Lol a little unbalanced and unsteady. Carrying heaps of the layers in the front usually helps clear the path

They make you feel like a princess. the shape is kept because of wire hoops. and yes i think they are comfortable. I wouldn't want to wear one ALL the time though

Are the wire hoops built into those dresses or do you guys wear something separate under them? Also how on earth do you use the toilet with such a big dress on? Hahaha
