Generally it’s a negative.

Both pictures you posted are very pretty (and fairly feminine) looking women who are then wearing and androgynous style. In their case I’d almost certainly like it better if they were less androgynous but they still look decent. But they’re able to look a little less pretty in order to look cool and edgy and “different” while still being reasonably pretty.

This doesn’t work so well for average women.

Or men. Especially teenage boys. Large muscular men with long hair look like sensitive badasses or possibly Vikings. Guys who don’t look that masculine might not want to go with that hairstyle.

I’d also note the “androgynous hairstyle” for women when people think it looks good is actually high maintenance. Makeup every day.

I would probably, yeah. But it'd also hugely depend on her personality. I don't really care for looks. Though androgynous women are beauties, not gonna lie.
