I want to dye my hair, but i am really confused what color i have to choose. Is it better to dye a brown hair to a different color or i have to let it brown? I want to have a hair color that is not common. I don't want to make my hair blond. Is it good to make my hair bloody RED? Is it better to make my hair black and red? My hair is not straight so much, i don't cut it like how footballers do and i am a white guy. If i wanted to make my hair black and red, i would make it just like the image or i would make it shorter. I am a med student, so is it weird for a med student to dye his hair? Tell me your opinions and ideas about the best hair color to dye my hair if it's not bad for me to do this, but PLEASE BE HONEST!

If you are a med student, I would suggest only dyeing your hair with colors that are associated with natural hair color. As in hair color that can be found in nature.
For example, if you have really dark brown hair, you could dye it to a lighter brown. If you have lighter brown hair, you could dye it blonde. If you have blonde hair, you could dye it red (as in ginger, not blood red) or brown.
This means no bubblegum pink, no violet or indigo, no aqua blue, no seaweed green. These colors are not natural hair colors.
You might be able to pull it off if you worked in the creative industry - and then, it would still depend on a host of other factors - but in a more conservative field like medicine, if you want to be taken seriously, as a professional, with the proper gravitas befitting someone of your intelligence and education, you should stay away from such artificial colors and opt for more natural ones.
You should also take into account your skin tone and probably the hue of your eyes.
When in doubt, check with your hairstylist. Here I assume your hairstylist is a consummate professional and will make a decision based on a variety of factors, not just based on what YOU think looks good.
I personally wouldn't go for red. It looks good in theory, never in practice. I keep my hair short, and I've died it a lot in the past, and apparently I look good with green, silver and purple hair. It really just comes down to what you like and what suits you best really, but if you are looking to be 'unique' don't for anything generic like blues or reds, those are common. I once saw a girl with split blue and pink hair which looked decent, and I have considered combinations of my own like purple and green or perhaps blonde with black tips, but honestly it's a lot of work to get it to look good which is why I stopped in the first place.

I don't know I listen to singers whose hair changes on a weekly basis from pink, to blue, orange, green and blonde. I keep thinking their hair is going to fall out.
I guess whether you dye depends on the acceptability in the environment you are in. Now everything has change with things like this. Most likely this would be accepted more than multiple piercing in a hospital setting but I might be totally wrong. It would, also, depend on how patients would accept it. Once people knew how skilled you were hair would be less of an issue.
You might ask around and see if it will be a problem.
Actually, my environment doesn't accept men to dye their hair, especially unnatural hair colors. Also i will deal with patients, professors and doctors through my study and career, and they have to get comfortable when they deal with me, especially that they have to take me seriously. You got me to look at this case in an another way that i haven't noticed before. You are really giving a good point of view that suits any place a med student lives in.
So what you could do is pick a time where you have a week without anything and dye it red. Then you will have to dye it back to your "natural" color then. This used to be a problem in our area. In the summer the kids would dye their hair but the school district required no colored hair so you'd see kids in the salons getting their color removed or color put in to cover a light color.
A several options you might try. Henna which is a natural red color. It might be more subtle if you have dark hair, Another option is hair chalk. It's a temp color that you could use like if you were going to a bar or something. Not sure if it would sweat off. A lot of women who let their hair go to their natural gray will put in hair chalk because they don't want anything permanent to stain their hair and have to regrow it out again. . You can, also. use Kool-aid but that is permanent kind of but it will fade over time.
I mean, dying your hair this color would all depend on your hairstyle, and how the color compliments your complexion. Like depending on how white you are will determine what shade will be best hon. Cause even I can't rock every color, and I'm naturally tan since birth lol. You said you are a med student, so I'm not sure if bright reds would be fitting for that. Maybe a darker shade of red, perhaps a nice burgundy. In the end it is your choice bro!
How about dying the tips of your hair a different color? Cause dying the whole thing might make you stand out and some people stare when you do that... also when the color begins to fade it looks REALLY bad when you have your whole head dyed and its fading
There are a lot of factors to consider; your skin tone, your eyes color, your hair's natural color... so you should see a hairstylist that's my advice most of the time it damages the hair so don't dye it a lot just once in a while
So to get your hair to a bright red like that, it would have to be lightened. Typically only to a light orange color. As hair is bleached it turns one until it’s toned or colored. I think the picture you have up looks cool and if you want to do it and it makes you happy, I say go for it!
Ehhhhhhh Anything other than another natural color sounds like a no for me.
And it's not just unnatural for a medical student, it's also unhealthy for you and your hair, you should know that as a med student, no patient would wanna see their doctor having red-dyed hair, it's informal AND unhealthy, so it wouldn't be suitable at all for a student like you.
Had one in my class, he ended up coloring his hair pink, because he wanted to get paid by colouring it on live streaming. (he didn't earn much as he had to get it done properly at a hairdresser later). But it really suited him strangely enough.

People generally change their hair due to being unhappy with themselves. They want to change their life to make it better and believe that dying their hair is going to change that, when in reality it doesn't change anything except make you less attractive to the majority of the population. Try and think about some of the things that you wish you could change and try and fix those.

I did mine platinum blonde. However I regret it big time when I see photos of myself. You will like it for a while I suspect. If you're in med school I suggest that you keep it natural. Just due to stigma etc.
Its one thing to have a real love of a certain color hair but to want to change the color just because... not so much. Keep your hair natural. Besides patients dont want to think their doctor is indecisive or flaky about things.
If you're olive skinned burgundy suits you well just don't use bleach I didn't use bleach and my hair came out like this. I think this color also looks good on pale people too. I used guy tang permanent hair dye in the shade of midnight rose
