174cm is 5 feet 8 inches

I live in Australia and I am taller than the majority of women and girls my age. I am of British heritage though. My great-grandparents immigrated to Australia in the early 1900s.

huh I always thought australians were tall. But anyways I know a girl from Australia not very pretty and about 5'10 she got a half decent lookin dude. Chances are you're better looking than her. I noticed height standards seem to change wherever I go. For example, I notice a lot of people up in the northern midwest are taller, and it's not abnormal for girls to be around 5'6 to 5'10. A lot of people there were much more accepting of it being normal. Some major cities such as New York and Chicago, I noticed people were overall a lot smaller: a lot of girls and a lot of dudes (surprisingly) being around 5'0-5'3. In those cities I noticed online that girls were more self conscious about being tall.

I think (or rather thought - I could be wrong!) that 5"6' to 5"8' is about average height for women?

The average world female height is 5'4-5'5, therefore that's tall..
It's also the minimum height for runway modeling. Bella Hadid, Barbara Palvin are that height and VS only hires tall girls.
People who voted it isn't, must have very high standards

Well, height is really country dependent. In my country average male height is 10 cm taller than you are. So you aren't that tall to me.

1/3 of 174 is approximayely 64 inches. This would be about 5 feet 4 inches. This is a low approximation, probably by a few inches but it is less than 6 feet.

Yea, that's understandable. That's why I just approximated 1 inch to 3 centimeters and converting inches to feet is just dividing by 12 and leaving the remainder in the form of inches

Yea, nah. I'm from the USA, mate. Makes sense to not understand our fucked up imperial system because it legit makes 0 sense. Like, 12 inches in a foot, 3 feet in a yard, 1280 feet in a mile, which winds up being 426.66... yards in a mile.

@Deathly_Pheonix I am aware USA uses Fahrenheit to tell the temperature while Australian people use degree celsius. I do not understand Fahrenheit at all.

F=1.8C+32
1⁰C is equal to 1.8⁰F and instead of freezing point being at 0⁰F, we have it set at 32⁰F

Yea, it made no sense to make them different, it's just a simple. linear function conversion based in point slope form
0⁰C = 32⁰F
1⁰C = 33.8⁰F
Etc.
Start at the freezing point, then every degree Celsius you increase, Fahrenheit increases 1.8 degrees

Yea, they do. Only a handful of countries use the imperial/Fahrenheit systems, everything else is metric/Celsius
