So I never wear red. My auntie always told me “Red is the color of Sin “😐 ... While I don’t think I shared that view, I certainly had no interest in contesting it. Choose your battles. Red can wait.
So anyhow, I don’t have a natural instinct toward combing it with other colors.
I DO know Red and Blue make Purple.
I know that I like purplish reds better than pinkish ones...
I am assuming a purplish red SHOULD pair OK with a purplish blue. Bc they are all second cousins, so there should be some overlap.
I think technically, the clothing below pair OK. Not positive it works out in practice.
I like both red and blue but hate them together. Red is a difficult colour to pair with. It has so much power, heat. A way to lessen its impact is actually to add more of it. Repeat the instance of it in a room, not once but three times, and it won't have 3x the strength. In fact then your eye won't zero in on the one object as much. That particular red and blue do not look good together. The problem is not only the tones, but the intensity levels. The saturation and intensity of the blue must be stronger to coordinate the red (from what i can see from the photos.) I would not wear these together. If you want to keep those leggings, try staying in the same colour family (warm colours, not cool.)
That doesn't look blue. red white and blue is obviously a good combination: half of national flags are using it. Men often wear blue suits with red ties.
I'd have nightmares for years if I wore something so flagrant 😂.. Blue is just such a calm and peaceful color so I almost always wear something blue.. And red just looks like death and destruction 😭
I dont think they work too well together I think Red and blue work together best when one color is accented by the other Like having a blue dress, with a red bow, red slippers or something like that. Or you have a red dress, but a blue purse or bag, <3
I was playing it safe. I usually add too much lighting then it changes the actual tone of the color.
I don’t usually think of red with other colors, it’s just the black shirt I was going to wear was missing and I was in a rush. I don’t normally wear red period - amongst other reasons -it’s a difficult color to pull off.
The picture sample looks a bit off in its combination (a little more light would have been helpful). But some shades of red can be friends with some shades of blue. It's a 'tricky' combination, though.
Whether or not it was the cause is debatable but Im fairly certain its not going to be a solution, at least not unless they change up the settings on their governments mind control lasers.
Those two colors contrast with each other, yet have some color components in common. It's a gentle contrast, not sharp or glaring. That's just how I see them in the pictures.
