Why do people hate tattoos so much?

Im 25 and I still live with my parents
But I do have a full time job
So I can pay for my own expenses and bills

My parents are not a fan of tattoos
But my dad is chilled
But my mum HATES tattoos and doesn't want me to get any

3 weeks ago I went to Thailand and got myself a first tattoo on my back
Its small so I can cover it
And then I can hide it from my family

But then yesterday I forgot to cover it since I was wearing a singlet
And my mum saw it
And she definitely got pissed off at me and was upset with me
My dad is okay with it, he didn't get angry
Im bloody 25 lol and its my body

She still is angry
And hasn't spoken to me for 3 days now in the house
What's so bad about tattoos?
Why do people hate tattoos so much?
I don't get it

The more tattoos the better... lol it depends on the person though. I've seen some really feminine tattoos that just work on some of my friends, and I've seen bad ones. For me, as long as you're happy with it that's all that matters. Like you said it's your body. The one in the picture looks good.

Yeah my dad was telling me how back in the days, tattoos were depicted as 'bad' person lol
I told them that has changed now.. 70% people in this world probably have a tattoo, no matter how small
