Cover the butt and legs, duh. If your purpose for wearing them as pants is comfort then there are plenty of good comfortable options out there that don't show everything. And if you want to wear it to actually show the butt and legs there are better kinds of them that hug your curves in all the right places without looking so frumpy.

I don't see myself wearing them at all except if I'm wearing it underneath something else for WARMTH or if I'm working out in a private space. If I'm working out around men in the gym I wear loose trousers.

I used to be one of those girls whose wardrobe consisted of leggings and hoodies. None covered my butt and looking back, if they had, it probably would've saved me quite a few inappropriate remarks by my classmates. I think people can wear whatever they want but should be prepared for the consequences.

In my opinion, she should cover her butt if she wants to exhibit the standardized classy look. If she wants her appearance to be more revealing, then showing her butt will help with that. I'd be more attracted to her covering it because it gives me the impression that there's depth to her. That she doesn't prioritize on sexual provocation to feel attractive. Common sense tells me that if you attract using sex, that's what you'll most likely get. A partner who's been attracted to you by sex. Which will likely produce a straight forward outcome. I voted no, because i've always worn leggings as trousers on their own from a young age and continue to see young girls and adults wearing them. I do see some girls and i think "Gosh get some thicker leggings!" and it does worry me as some of these girls are very young and you can see their underwear.

It all depends, some leggings can be nice and thick whereas cheaper ones you can see right through. I definitely do think that parents with younger children should be more cautious though.

Depends what type. Athletic leggings (like from gym shark or Lululemon) are meant to be worn as pants. Like whoever puts a skirt over that is stupid.
