Why do people love Brunettes over Blondes?

I have always observed that most people (men or women) thinks that brunette hair color makes a person more attractive.

I love Brunettes

I prefer Blondes

Others (Black, Red, etc.)

People often seek out those who look like them. Brown is one of the most common hair colors, and is still close enough to black or blonde as to not be alienating.

I don't really have that behavior. Seems strange to me. I look for people who remind me of my family the least.

I am not defending that brunettes are more attractive because of its color.

For me, I had crushes on Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Amy Jo Johnson in my teen years. So it formed my attraction for brunettes.

Probably just because blondes have so many negative stereotypes attached to them. I don't think the actual appearance of their hair color is the problem. Blonde hair is very pretty.

Its just a preference. I find blonde hair too light and like jet back hair. Looks really sexy on a woman.

I've always found brunette hair to be more interesting to look at. Blonde hair is nice (as most women's hair is), but it doesn't make me want to run my hands through it and bury my nose in it.

I can't explain why, I just like brown hair better, but it literally couldn't be any further from a dealbreaker. It's just a preference, much like girls wanting guys that have a certain eye color.
