But women have also been socially conditioned to maximize their beauty, for men this trend is picking up as well but that's a newish thing. For centuries womens worth was dependent completely on how they looked and thats still relevant today. We invest a lot of time, money and energy in our faces in ways that most men don't.

How many times have you seen a gorgeous woman with a so-so guy? The first thought is that he 'must have a big dick', and next, 'a really fat wallet'. :)
Women are drawn to men for all kinds of reasons - it's an emotional connection. His physcial strength, his humor, his intelligence, his talents and abilities, his character, his devotion, even his political strength, financial power. It's just not about looks, although that does definitely create an initial attraction.
And why game is so important. You have to be able to TALK to women if you're going to get through their emotional wall they put up.
A man's worth, his SMV, is tied to all of this. A woman's greatest asset is her youth and beauty. The good ones develop further value, that they bring to a relationship. Many simply think if they show up with their golden vagina they're, well, golden.
