What are your thoughts on "anklets" or ankle bracelets?

I like them, back in the 80s girls in HS gave their BFs their ankle Bracelets and guys would wear them for her.

I still have my 1St girlfriend ankle bracelet in what I call a memory box (Thats where you put things and you open the box once and while and go down memory lane) better known as a Personal Time Capsule

Anklet is a legitimate word. Its a regular piece of jewellery for women from a few cultures around the world so there's no need to " " on anklets.

That being said. They're very pretty. I think it looks best against tan or brown skin, especially if its gold. On paler skin, it doesn't register.

I like any kind of wrist, neck, ankle jewelry. So long as it's a discreet chain or bead thing and not one of those gigantic bulbous bead bracelets that have turquoise and silver and all manner of other crap on them.

first time I saw an anklet was a girl in college and as the jewellery focused guy I had to ask about it... she was Indian and it was 21kt gold
