Would you let your son wear thongs?

I always wanted to wear thongs growing up, but asking my parents I know is something that would not go well. Asking would be embarrassing for me I guess being male and asking for underwear that usually women wear. I know they would never buy anything like that for me when no matter how bad I would want it. I wasn't going to go out and show or tell anyone I only wanted to wear them, it's just underwear but for some reason my mom did not want to me find out about them in any way I think, when I was like 10 one day we went shopping with another woman and we were in the women's section where they had a bunch of thongs and lingerie and my mom kept giving me weird looks every few seconds to see if I was even checking out the thongs, when I was 15 there was this movie thats pg-13 I wanted to watch but she would not let me see it because she said it had nudity in it, there was 1 scene in the movie where they showed a girl for literally 2 seconds wearing a thong but according to her it was too much for me, I'm surprised though she did not get mad at me for watching Shrek 2 because of the scene where Pinocchio is wearing a thong. When I was 17 my parents found out I wore thongs and they were got mad at me. At 19 my mom found a small box I had hidden with about 10 pairs and once again she got mad, I hid them somewhere else but now I had over 30 pairs maybe and she found them again but didn't say anything this time, maybe she was more ok with it now or something.
Would you let your son wear thongs?
