Ok girls, what's the reason behind the existence of thongs?

Sooooooo, I do not wear thongs, I don't see the point. I prefer briefs and hipsters. Why not just wear those? They're comfortable, they don't get stuck in your ass, there's no fragile string that can snap leaving string sticking out of your shorts, and if some creep pantsed you, it adds a little extra protection so the world around you doesn't get to see your ass.

I'm all for personal choice. I believe you should wear what you want, I just don't understand the point of thongs. Can someone fill me in? Tell me what the point of them are?

Sometimes when u wear thongs it doesn’t really show the lines at the back when you are wearing a skin tight dress or skirt (jeans too)... that’s just me 😂I don’t like when the lines from the panties are kinda visible to see, so I wear thongs when I go out and normal panties to stay comfy at home

They are used just to look sexy. But they are uncomfortable and dirty. I don't wear them either, I wear either cheekies or bikini. I think those are sexier anyway.

Any other kind of underwear just gets bunched up in my butt anyway so might as well just have a thin little string. Plus, no panty lines.

I only wear them if I'm wearing tight clothings but I hate them. I love my unnatractive colorful granny panties with prints and different patterns :p
