Oh god! This is a nightmare story! I was 15 when I got the courage to buy a thong! I loved leggings, but didn’t really enjoy enjoy going commando, and HATED the dreaded panty lines! So I bought a thong, and was convinced that the checkout girl, just knew I was having sex (at that point, I wasn’t yet!) and i have NO idea why I thought thong equals sex, but anyway a week later I heard my mom laughing hysterically, they were doing laundry together, when apparently my dad pulled out my thong, and said something like “VERY NICE! I… ” my mom cut him off with, “No no no God NO! They’re your daughter’s!” He dropped them like they were radioactive! ☢️
Thanks Jake! I know that this is either an old joke, or something that happened in a movie, but it actually happened to my dad! At the time I was horrified, but when I think back on it now… I really laugh!
No obviously not! I mean, my dad doing that once was funny, but now that he KNOWS a that his oldest daughter wears thongs, if he did it again, then it would just be creepy! Jeez!

Ask your sister. Frankly I am more comfortable in regular cotton panties. They let the body breathe and they don't floss your crack and other things. I might if I were planning on having sex but on a daily basis, never.
I don't wear thongs regularly. In fact, I don't even own any thongs. I experimented when I was about 13 or 14 but quickly decided they were uncomfortable. My clothes of choice are usually a pair of jeans and a t-shirt so I never had any desire to wear a thong. If I were to buy a thong, I would only buy one and wear it for special occasions if I really didn't want panty lines.
I'm 14 not 13 but wore them for about two years now. I don't see the big deal other than in yoga pants or something. Rather just not wear anything if it was see through
I got my first pair when I was 14, so yeah I still wear them. I'm used to them and find them more comfortable I don't know any other type of underwear at this point

Probably 10 years? But I like cheeky lace panties better than thongs, I think they’re sexier. When I work out I wear seamless thongs though. No panty lines here 🙅🏼♀️
Why should I be sorry for not wearing thongs? It doesn't affect my life in a negative or positive way, it doesn't make me happy or sad, there's nothing to feel sorry about
I dont. Underwear in general i find unconfortable. They also promote sweat down there which can lead to bacterial, hygenic or even yeast based problems. Free the kitty lol :p
I wore them twice But it was only because I had to wear this tight behind dress to my sister's part Thongs are so uncomfortable :( and so are dresses :(
@Bigjake1019 it all good, dad wouldn't have let me then but at 17 I had my driver's license for a year and figure out if I washed my own clothes while he was at work, he was too embarrassed to go though the draws where my under garments were.
The seamless thongs are actually really comfortable! I’m not sure if there’s a TJMaxx near you, but they have cheap packs of like 5 that are awesome and super cute, feels like you aren’t wearing anything!

I mean they don’t need to know what undergarments you’re wearing if you do your own laundry! You’re at the age where you can pick out your own clothes, I understand though, my mom wouldn’t let me have thongs when I was in high school so I bought some for myself and when she found them, I just told her they were for leggings so that you couldn’t see panty lines.
You could always order them online and have them sent to a friends house if you’re worried about your parents opening your packages. Sounds like boundaries aren’t exactly present in your situation, hopefully that changes in the future!!!
If you really wanted them you would find a way! Lmao in my own post, I talked about how I prefer cheeky underwear to thongs anyways, so maybe look into those. Unless your parents are forcing you to wear granny panties, they should be fine with you getting those. You could learn how to make your own thongs too lol
She was insanely strict on me. She felt like they were too "mature" for me to wear at that time and I was raised with the "wait until you're 18" rule when it came to dating, sex, dressing a certain way, wearing makeup, etc.
