Will I regret getting my nose pierced?

i just turned 21 and have been thinking about getting my nose pierced when i was 20, so it hasn't been long but I've been planning it a while already. a friend told me its something she didn't expect i'd do, knowing who i am, but she's also supportive saying it would suit me (can't really imagine how i'd look like with it yet though).

im also someone who overthinks stuff so this is really a big deal for me, i dont want to regret it, but I've been really wanting it. its true that its not something i thought i'd do. out of nowhere i just wanna. aside from being an overthinker, im also awfully indecisive. so even though i know i want it now, im still having doubts.

if you're someone who has nose piercing or had them, any advice? im stil looking for a good piercing parlor if i ever decide to get one. i was just gonna get one at a jewelry store at a mall but I've read that its not a good idea, is it true? if i go through with it i just plan on having a stud. also i can't explain how scared i am of how much it would hurt but i wanna worry about that if or when i'm about to get it.

I have a nose piercing and honestly, it’s a piercing that closes up easily so if you don’t like it, it will close up before you know it. I pick and choose when I wear mine and use an earring sometimes to keep the hole from completely closing. Your nose needs to be healed up to do that though.

I recommend going to a professional. Also do not use the solution they give you in the bottle, wash it with soap and water once a day!

If you regret you can always remove it.

yes but won't it leave a scar?

It will probably leave a minor scar that will fade with time but you can also remove the scar through laser treatment if it bothers you.
