If you know what your looking at, it might be a clue to a rich guy if he wearing a real $10k watch. Some watch that kind of stuff, and they can even pick up on knockoffs. They study that stuff. It's a pretty big clue, as many rich guys don't advertise by clothes and cars, as easy as that is to look flashy, it will also get you car jacked and maybe dead.

It really depends on context of the setting, your clothes, the people you are with etc.

a watch is not really for telling the time, it’s a statement.

I tend not to wear a watch unless mountain biking

I do have a good selection to chose from but really needs to be right place.

A watch is a part of the entire picture. To some, like me, it symbolizes or hints at their sensibilities, and certainly it is an expression of their style. I love watches, and yes, I do notice them on men.

I hate to wear watches so I never do, however... I do think it is one of the best accessories for certain and some particular styles.

If you know when/how to wear one properly, it can look great. So in that sense, it can make you stand out, in the best way possible. And that can be attractive.

I've never understood the point of wearing watches anymore. Everyone has a phone and even the lowest model phones show time more accurately than most average watches.
Why wear a watch when you've got a clock on your phone?
