I Read about the whole VS adjusting to fit the whole women’s ideals over men’s now vs before and I think they have but they missed the complete point
The whole idea of the angels was that it was ‘sexy’ the whole sex appeal as well changing rooms and layout was meant to appeal to the men that those women were supposedly shopping with in order to make the MEN more comfortable and this includes promotion of 2cup double push up bras and sexy ‘curvy angels’
In one was that was great as it created a sense of exclusivity and I remember as a young teen thing wow I can’t wait to shop there when older it’s ‘sexy’ and no one else does for everyday wear. Now even with the same price the competition is too high with other lingerie brands and even to my self I think oh it’s just a VS daily bra. I should wear something sexier if It’s a special occasion
As for the changes they actually made they made too late but some is better then nothing I guess. Curve models, more diversity and size ranges etc. But the whole brand’s response was atrocious to most women as a whole.
As for myself personally I still shop them and find their stuff cute regardless of whether I support the brand’s ideals or chooses or not. They’re still cute underwear but I don’t see the whole appeal as I did before and definitely prefer other lingerie brands
What's changed?
The did away with the Angels.
There is no more super thin models with 30A cups (yes it's a real size on a model) walking down the runway.

They are make their line with more body types in mind now. Even using different sized mannequins in the store too.
And there are different, more progressive women in charge now.
Thats cool I guess
Have you ever bought things from them before?
Nope
I stopped shopping there because they are over priced and the material is so cheap for it to be so expensive. It’s ridiculous. I have so much stuff from there all cheap material.
I really only shopped there cause I thought the angels looked sexy and I wanted to look like that... and now they’re adding fat people.. so even if I had not stopped already, I would for sure stop now.
all this “accept” fat as sexy is really stupid.
fat praising is the stupidest thing to happen to humans. Fat is unhealthy and by nature we are attracted to “healthy” individuals, which is why most people don’t find fat people attractive.
but society wants everyone to say that fat is sexy just because a vast majority of lazy people cat and don’t want to stop eating and don’t like to exercise so they cry about not feeling sexy and feeling discriminated against etc..
people should not fat shame and let fat people who want to be fat stay fat. That’s fine be how you want.. . but why should we lie and say that it is okay to be fat and putting it all out there everywhere when it poses a health threat?
for the most part it really is not nice to look at.
Most depressed people are fat... there is a reason for that. They don’t feel good in that body.. and when people lose weight they feel more sexy and healthy even if nobody tells them. It’s just fact.
Stop fat praising it. Its not nice, it’s stupid.
I’m pretty sure Victoria’s Secret is only rebranding them self as a way to appeal to women now a days but most stopped shopping there because their stuffs overpriced + not sustainably made (they had a controversy for their products being produced by child labor)
These yt videos go more in depth on it
So it's fair to say you were never a fan of theirs to begin with, and never stepped foot inside one?
haven’t shopped there for a long time becuz they are so expensive and there are better lingerie brands!! what did they change tho?
Women run it now, the took out the pink colors, and they include all sizes now.
What do you think is the best lingerie brand for you?
women run it ✅
no more pink 👎
include all sizes 🤷🏻♀️
pink is my 2nd fav colour and including more sizes doesn’t really affect me.. so still overpriced lol
La senza is my fav brand😊
What do you like about la senza?
i find their bras fit me better and are more comfortable, and they last longer! i also think they have the most unique designs and unique colour combos 😊
Most ladies just look for fit and comfort. That doesn't tell me what designs and colors they like. What are some of your favs?
oh soz, for colours if i’m not trying to match it to something then i like purple the best and pink 2nd best!! for styles i wear thongs like 99% of the time, and have a soft spot for the lacy ones
What kinds of things are you trying to match with your lingerie?
Do you own a lot of purple bras?
ya purples & pinks & blacks prolly!! and if i’m trying to match to a dress for example, i like to match lol
So you would match a purple dress with a purple bra? Is there any special reason for that?
ya!! or match to my nail polish or pumps etc😊😊 a lot of the time there’s no special reason, it just makes me feel nicee!! but if i know a guy is going to see then i always match😅😂
Indifferent.
I never cared for them.
Their prices were high for their shitty quality.
It was like you were paying for the brand name.
What are some examples of their bad quality?
Thank you for sharing that. I appreciate it.
I have noticed they have been closing a lot of stores. Probably due to their high prices compared to other underwear.
I'm not familiar with this since I don't live in the United States. But if they changed that sounds good.
Never shopped there anyway
What stopped you in the past?
And what would it take to get you to step foot in the door now?
Everything was really bad quality and expensive. The cotton part of the underwear never was in the right place ( though this is an issue with most underwear) and the staff are super pushy about getting you fitted even after telling them I don't wear bras.
Yeah that sounds like a horrible experience for sure. Sorry that happened to you.
Modern changes for modern times.
Never been unlikely to start
Too expensive. What changes?
