Trending & News Because it’s cute and nostalgic. I don’t like the whole gentrification problem on depop rn where girls will sell a $4 top for $100 and name it “vintage, y2k, aesthetic” etc, it’s so stupid and I hate fast fashion. I enjoy thrifting and am getting into up cycling clothes. It’s super fun and it’s more sustainable. Plus if you’re really good at it you can make a honest business out of it.
there is generally a 20 year trend cycle in fashion, so like how 90's fashion made a comeback last year with millennials, this past few years gen z has been taking influence from 2000's trends since they were never able to participate when the trends were a new thing
I am so uncultured that I don't even know what these outfits look like.
UHM... I am clueless about this. Must be I am too old
Basically like Britney Spears back in the time. Lots of bright colours, flares, tiny handbags and beaded necklaces with logos on their cropped tees. But I don’t get it either
@muscularbumblebee well, I guess we can be clueless together. People my age might actually like it but I was glad when we were done. Lol. Isn't it funny how history generally repeats itself
