What would you think if you saw this?

If you went to someone's home and they had a display of many different empty designer perfume bottles on their wardrobe or shelves, what would you think?

Displaying a collection of designer perfume bottles is risky without communication. The average man will presume she is high maintenance. In other words, that the woman has to have designer everything and expensive tastes. For most men who are looking for a LTR, high maintenance women are relegated herself to the sex only, no long-term relationship potential category. High maintenance is bad for LTR.

I would presume collecting bottles was a hobby and ask how she got that many bottles. The hobby would be neither good nor bad as long as she doesn't spend a lot of $$$ on it. Some of those "designer fragrances" can cost $500 a bottle; they are fleecing ignorant customers. I have a collection of over 60 bottles of colognes and perfumes, I throw away/recycle the empty bottles.

I'm an engineer, art and engineering intersect. An engineer is part artist and part scientist, form follows function.

The design of a perfume bottle is engineering and art, I'd understand why someone would appreciate it's design.

My grandfather had a collection of empty cologne bottles on his dresser. Bottles shaped like cars, trains, etc. I think from Avon. They used to sell cologne like that.
