It's not up to us. If your chin is having a serious negative impact on your mental health then surgery could be worth in too. I don't know where your from but if your in uk you might be able to get it done free if you can demonstrate it's for psychological reasons and not just cosmetic.

If it will make you happy and give you self esteem and confidence do it. Fuck the people that say no. It is your life and body. An Oral and Maxiofacial surgeon can fix this by cutting your chin loose from your lower jaw and moving it foward. A Plastic surgeon can put a Chin Implant in. I do not know much about this procedure. I know first hand about the Maxiofacial procedure, because I had this done in 1989. Both procedures will give the facial balance you are looking for. Go for it, Good Luck.
