Why are Asian men the only straight men comfortable wearing makeup?

Those guys can wear makeup and lipstick/lipgloss and still identify as straight. How come men from other countries aren’t ok with that?

I’ve only heard about straight Korean men wearing makeup. But from what I’ve heard its because 1) male kpop idols are very popular in South Korea. They wear makeup even though they are straight, and are popular with women. So it’s isn’t seen as weird. 2) Korean men take very well care of their appearance. They may use makeup to look better. 3) I’ve heard that there isn’t really toxic masculinity in South Korea. For example, men are more comfortable with displays of affection towards their male friends and doing aegyo (cute mannerisms), without being labeled as gay.

There was a trend of guys wearing makeup back in the 80's.
It was mostly because of musicians and Rock bands.
I don't think they do it now, unless he's an actor wearing cover up or something.
