I wear mostly lace up boots. Working on the farm or working on the road you need something sturdy and safe. I do have 1 pair of new balance sneakers hardly worn and a pair of dudes for slipping on to go out. Otherwise it's boots to work, or fish, or hunt, to shade tree mechanic, got lots of boots but not many other types of footwear.
@DizzyDesii Girl you having some kind of luck this week. I think you need a vacation or something. Maybe you need a bottle of your favorite beverage, a lawn chair, a big fire pit, and a campsite next to the lake. No noise, just the sound of the crackling fire, the waves lapping at the shore and the coyotes howling at the moon and a million stars twinkling for you. Total tranquility and peace.
Lol thank you haha. But im not a nature girl. I’d be too busy running from insects, animals, the wind 🤣 They say run with the wind and i run from it haha. But i do want to escape to vegas again. I've done it alone before
The bugs are gone here now. Leaves are all changing colors and falling. Soon the lake will be frozen and I'll do that on the ice while I'm fishing. Then slip into the ice house, where the temp is 68°, fry up the fish, bait and set the nite rigs and take short catnaps on the bed or in the recliner til the tattletales alert you to a fish bite. That's heaven for sure.
What about the ants lol
Hardly any ants around here. You'll see a few black ants on the sidewalks but that about it.
I don’t spend more than 200 on shoes. Lol. I have like 75 pair (maybe more) of Air Force ones still in the box. Since 1994. Lol
Thats so hot! I love a dude with shoe game

Mostly I spend something between 40 - 200 €, lately I bought new boots, cause winter and spend 40-60 € on each pair.. my Nikes have to wait until spring again
Usually around fifty bucks, give or take. It often takes a fair bit of looking, though, as in most brands I'm a size 14, and size consistency once you get past twelve kind of goes out the window, in men's shoes. That'd manageable, except that even size fifteens are rare outside of specialty shops, and anything bigger, you can just forget about. And at my size, finding a well-fitting, supportive shoe isn't optional.
And if anyone out there has a decent explanation of why larger shoe sizes (which go hand-in-hand with being taller) are usually LOWER on store shelves, I'd very much like to hear it. I'm sure it's not fun to crouch down next to floor to find your shoes when you're 5'2", but I'm a freaking foot taller than you, and it doesn't make any sense to have ME do it, either.
You gotta go to basketballer type stores like Footlocker, Finish Line, City Gear, etc where Lebron and them sell their shoes
For sports shoes I normally select Puma. For dress shoes, Church's English shoes are without peer. I wore Church's shoes to the office every day for almost 30 years, usually the Duke; royal calf leather brogue black. Those shoes have been in style for 100 years and will be in style for 100 more.
I grew up poor. My school clothes came from the Sears catalog, which was all that my mother (a single mom) could afford. I was teased about my clothes in school. When I began my working career, I made sure that I was well dressed!
Man my mom used to make me wear those ugly Keds. I hated them 😂 they were the ripoff vans. Then i upgraded to kswiss, fila, pony, and fubu. Then once i got my own money, it was adidas, nike, jordans, and converse haha. I just started checking out puma yesterday and im like ooo i like
I only own three pair of shoes.
The two first ones are Vibram Fivefingers Trail, prized at $130. They simulate barefoot running, but less demanding so you can still run on hard terrain like in the mountain:
And the last one are Nike soccer sneakers, prized only at $60. Which I found legendarily good, comfortable and durable. Nothing I have tried ever comes closer to the comfort these provide:
Not the fingertoe shoes 🙈
I do not own any red bottoms...
But generally I don't buy cheap.
They're my feet and I need them in comfort and stable shoes.
Brand names:Nike, Dr martens, new balance, havianas, reebok, puma, sketchers, Clarks.
I'm more a trainers kind of girl.
So yea...
Comfort and structure is key.
I dont have any red bottom either. I last wore heels in 2019 when i went to vegas and bust my ass in the middle of traffic lol. Then before that, i hadn't worn em since every graduation or awards show (HS, college, etc)
I never paid Puma attention til yesterday. I actually like some of their stuff
Yea I hardly wear heels, I wore some platforms in August this year and honestly they were easy to wear. But stilettos are a big fat no for me.
Sorry you dropped that's embarrassing that has happened to me before it's not fun.
But yea puma they're alright.
Not always something I go crazy over but they Drop style every now and then I like.
The worst ever shoe I bought was converse.
Omg soooo bad for my feet.
They tried bringing in those platform things to reinvent themselves but I can't do it.
Plus getting my feet soaked ugh.
I bought the leather ones back in 2015 and those were the last ones never again
Yes converse hurt badly but they go with so many casual and dressy clothes. I’d love to buy platforms so i can feel tall lol but closest i come to those is air force 1s
Haha I wish I could show you them

I'm kind of a sneaker head. I always was in that $150 ballpark with Nike Vapormax, they are my favorite shoes to work out in. Nike is also kind of always narrow and going up a half-size always solved that with me. I have some air force 1s.
I don't mind buying new $70 Vans if they are pretty, as I rotate different shoes everyday, plus I like anything with flowers and skulls so there is that too.
My boy got the forces 🙌
My gym shoes are from New Balance size 6 Extra Wide and size 10
the pair I got now was around $90.00- 100.00 and they're for flat feet
and I have a high instep.. I was wearing corrective shoes as a baby
cause I was pigeon toe.. Yes these just turned 3 years old LMAO
even my slippers are for flat feet
Damn they make corrective shoes
@DizzyDesii Yeah, back then my parents had to get me
fitted for them , I don't know most likely they still do
Lets just say too much. Pretty much all stores only go up to a size 14 and I'm a 15 so I always have to special order them. And they get really pricy if it's some kind of specialty shoe.
Well at least now I know how busty chicks feel about bra shopping.
Like more than $300 too much? And lmao yea i spend like $70 a bra since 2007 😂
Yeah, $300 is outside my price range.
And I can kinda get busty girl problems for "two" other reasons.
I'm the "Imelda Marcos of shoes" among my family & friends. I should be ashamed of myself. However, not all of my shoes are expensive. I have numerous pairs that are under $40.00 each which I purchased in factory outlets and/or street markets.
I usually spent about 130 on running shoes but I buy them every 3 months or so. For hiking and walking about the same but only replace every 6 months. Dress shoes I spend anywhere from 40-300. I never get rid of them and just add to my insanely large collection.
Cheap shoes fall apart after 30 days, that's not worth even the effort of buying them.
Otherwise I pay whatever they cost. It took me two years to find shoes I was willing to accept. No typical pricetag would prevent me from taking those home... Although they were less than 100$ anyway.
Not much. The most I’ve ever spent is on a pair of Nike trainers and that’s a given. You’ve got to spend over £100. But any other shoes, no sir I don’t buy anything more than £30. They’re shoes and they’re bound to get ruined. I think there were once a really cute pair of chunky boots and I got them for £40 and that’s the most I’d go I just really loved them.
Anywhere from $40 to $75
My daily sneakers or gym sneakers tend to be $45. I have a few nice shoes I've gotten for $20 and the deluxe double monks rock the club shoes would be more in the 75 bean range.
Welll thatsa good deal
Nice sneakers $150-250.
Anything else less that $100.
I actually really wanted a pair of yeezy slides to see what the hype was about, but i refuse to pay resale value.
Ew no not yeezus lol
With presently two puppy dogs: The bare minimum :D
Before that, I avoided both extremes, and ''brands'', too.
Hereabouts, you get a reasonable pair for what would be 25$ in the U. S..
Anything beyond that makes no sense to me.
Damn i forgot dogs stepp all over ya
Seeing your updates: you are in much trouble lately. How about staying at home for a day or two? :)
Perhaps, life will be better again next week...
Haha i will Friday
I'm a thrift shopper. I found brand new converse for $9.00 currently been wearing them for 3 years. The most expensive I bought shoes was brand new doc martens for $150
I just can't get into docs
I spent $80 on my Adidas superstar sneakers but I didn't spend any more than that on any pair of shoes. I wouldn't want to spend over $80 just for shoes
Ideally i wouldn't wanna spend more than $80 but shoes keep going up. Only the $150 are only $80’cause of online deals but shit im
An instore shoe shopper
Think about $140 for my main pair and about $50-$80 on my pairs for outdoor activities. I have hiking boots, running shoes, walking shoes, dress shoes, and casual shoes.
I have casual casual casual casual gym trainers semi casual lol
Lol read my paragraph above the pics. You know i always post haha
I know lmao
$20 usually, and I normally buy insole inserts for comfort, one of my best hiking trail shoes are some Walmart branded ozark trails, I’ve had them for years with no issues or defects. I’m not much into brands or paying higher for brand, when I can find quality items for ten times cheaper (:
I honestly don't know. I rarely ever buy shoes. Though I do have a pair or two that may need to be replaced soon...
How much you willing to throw out
Depends on where I get them 😆
