I wear mostly lace up boots. Working on the farm or working on the road you need something sturdy and safe. I do have 1 pair of new balance sneakers hardly worn and a pair of dudes for slipping on to go out. Otherwise it's boots to work, or fish, or hunt, to shade tree mechanic, got lots of boots but not many other types of footwear.
@DizzyDesii Girl you having some kind of luck this week. I think you need a vacation or something. Maybe you need a bottle of your favorite beverage, a lawn chair, a big fire pit, and a campsite next to the lake. No noise, just the sound of the crackling fire, the waves lapping at the shore and the coyotes howling at the moon and a million stars twinkling for you. Total tranquility and peace.
Lol thank you haha. But im not a nature girl. I’d be too busy running from insects, animals, the wind 🤣 They say run with the wind and i run from it haha. But i do want to escape to vegas again. I've done it alone before
The bugs are gone here now. Leaves are all changing colors and falling. Soon the lake will be frozen and I'll do that on the ice while I'm fishing. Then slip into the ice house, where the temp is 68°, fry up the fish, bait and set the nite rigs and take short catnaps on the bed or in the recliner til the tattletales alert you to a fish bite. That's heaven for sure.
What about the ants lol
Hardly any ants around here. You'll see a few black ants on the sidewalks but that about it.
I don’t spend more than 200 on shoes. Lol. I have like 75 pair (maybe more) of Air Force ones still in the box. Since 1994. Lol
Thats so hot! I love a dude with shoe game

Mostly I spend something between 40 - 200 €, lately I bought new boots, cause winter and spend 40-60 € on each pair.. my Nikes have to wait until spring again
Usually around fifty bucks, give or take. It often takes a fair bit of looking, though, as in most brands I'm a size 14, and size consistency once you get past twelve kind of goes out the window, in men's shoes. That'd manageable, except that even size fifteens are rare outside of specialty shops, and anything bigger, you can just forget about. And at my size, finding a well-fitting, supportive shoe isn't optional.
And if anyone out there has a decent explanation of why larger shoe sizes (which go hand-in-hand with being taller) are usually LOWER on store shelves, I'd very much like to hear it. I'm sure it's not fun to crouch down next to floor to find your shoes when you're 5'2", but I'm a freaking foot taller than you, and it doesn't make any sense to have ME do it, either.
You gotta go to basketballer type stores like Footlocker, Finish Line, City Gear, etc where Lebron and them sell their shoes
For sports shoes I normally select Puma. For dress shoes, Church's English shoes are without peer. I wore Church's shoes to the office every day for almost 30 years, usually the Duke; royal calf leather brogue black. Those shoes have been in style for 100 years and will be in style for 100 more.
I grew up poor. My school clothes came from the Sears catalog, which was all that my mother (a single mom) could afford. I was teased about my clothes in school. When I began my working career, I made sure that I was well dressed!
Man my mom used to make me wear those ugly Keds. I hated them 😂 they were the ripoff vans. Then i upgraded to kswiss, fila, pony, and fubu. Then once i got my own money, it was adidas, nike, jordans, and converse haha. I just started checking out puma yesterday and im like ooo i like
I only own three pair of shoes.
The two first ones are Vibram Fivefingers Trail, prized at $130. They simulate barefoot running, but less demanding so you can still run on hard terrain like in the mountain:

And the last one are Nike soccer sneakers, prized only at $60. Which I found legendarily good, comfortable and durable. Nothing I have tried ever comes closer to the comfort these provide:
Not the fingertoe shoes 🙈
I do not own any red bottoms...
But generally I don't buy cheap.
They're my feet and I need them in comfort and stable shoes.
Brand names:Nike, Dr martens, new balance, havianas, reebok, puma, sketchers, Clarks.
I'm more a trainers kind of girl.
So yea...
Comfort and structure is key.
I dont have any red bottom either. I last wore heels in 2019 when i went to vegas and bust my ass in the middle of traffic lol. Then before that, i hadn't worn em since every graduation or awards show (HS, college, etc)
I never paid Puma attention til yesterday. I actually like some of their stuff
Yea I hardly wear heels, I wore some platforms in August this year and honestly they were easy to wear. But stilettos are a big fat no for me.
Sorry you dropped that's embarrassing that has happened to me before it's not fun.
But yea puma they're alright.
Not always something I go crazy over but they Drop style every now and then I like.
The worst ever shoe I bought was converse.
Omg soooo bad for my feet.
They tried bringing in those platform things to reinvent themselves but I can't do it.
Plus getting my feet soaked ugh.
I bought the leather ones back in 2015 and those were the last ones never again
Yes converse hurt badly but they go with so many casual and dressy clothes. I’d love to buy platforms so i can feel tall lol but closest i come to those is air force 1s
Haha I wish I could show you them
www.google.com/search
I'm kind of a sneaker head. I always was in that $150 ballpark with Nike Vapormax, they are my favorite shoes to work out in. Nike is also kind of always narrow and going up a half-size always solved that with me. I have some air force 1s.
I don't mind buying new $70 Vans if they are pretty, as I rotate different shoes everyday, plus I like anything with flowers and skulls so there is that too.
My boy got the forces 🙌
My gym shoes are from New Balance size 6 Extra Wide and size 10
the pair I got now was around $90.00- 100.00 and they're for flat feet
and I have a high instep.. I was wearing corrective shoes as a baby
cause I was pigeon toe.. Yes these just turned 3 years old LMAO
even my slippers are for flat feet
Damn they make corrective shoes
@DizzyDesii Yeah, back then my parents had to get me
fitted for them , I don't know most likely they still do
Lets just say too much. Pretty much all stores only go up to a size 14 and I'm a 15 so I always have to special order them. And they get really pricy if it's some kind of specialty shoe.
Well at least now I know how busty chicks feel about bra shopping.
Like more than $300 too much? And lmao yea i spend like $70 a bra since 2007 😂
Yeah, $300 is outside my price range.
And I can kinda get busty girl problems for "two" other reasons.
I'm the "Imelda Marcos of shoes" among my family & friends. I should be ashamed of myself. However, not all of my shoes are expensive. I have numerous pairs that are under $40.00 each which I purchased in factory outlets and/or street markets.
I usually spent about 130 on running shoes but I buy them every 3 months or so. For hiking and walking about the same but only replace every 6 months. Dress shoes I spend anywhere from 40-300. I never get rid of them and just add to my insanely large collection.
Cheap shoes fall apart after 30 days, that's not worth even the effort of buying them.
Otherwise I pay whatever they cost. It took me two years to find shoes I was willing to accept. No typical pricetag would prevent me from taking those home... Although they were less than 100$ anyway.
Not much. The most I’ve ever spent is on a pair of Nike trainers and that’s a given. You’ve got to spend over £100. But any other shoes, no sir I don’t buy anything more than £30. They’re shoes and they’re bound to get ruined. I think there were once a really cute pair of chunky boots and I got them for £40 and that’s the most I’d go I just really loved them.
Nice sneakers $150-250.
Anything else less that $100.
I actually really wanted a pair of yeezy slides to see what the hype was about, but i refuse to pay resale value.
Ew no not yeezus lol
Anywhere from $40 to $75
My daily sneakers or gym sneakers tend to be $45. I have a few nice shoes I've gotten for $20 and the deluxe double monks rock the club shoes would be more in the 75 bean range.
Welll thatsa good deal
With presently two puppy dogs: The bare minimum :D
Before that, I avoided both extremes, and ''brands'', too.
Hereabouts, you get a reasonable pair for what would be 25$ in the U. S..
Anything beyond that makes no sense to me.
Damn i forgot dogs stepp all over ya
Seeing your updates: you are in much trouble lately. How about staying at home for a day or two? :)
Perhaps, life will be better again next week...
Haha i will Friday
I spent $80 on my Adidas superstar sneakers but I didn't spend any more than that on any pair of shoes. I wouldn't want to spend over $80 just for shoes
Ideally i wouldn't wanna spend more than $80 but shoes keep going up. Only the $150 are only $80’cause of online deals but shit im
An instore shoe shopper
I'm a thrift shopper. I found brand new converse for $9.00 currently been wearing them for 3 years. The most expensive I bought shoes was brand new doc martens for $150
I just can't get into docs
Think about $140 for my main pair and about $50-$80 on my pairs for outdoor activities. I have hiking boots, running shoes, walking shoes, dress shoes, and casual shoes.
I have casual casual casual casual gym trainers semi casual lol
Lol read my paragraph above the pics. You know i always post haha
I know lmao
$20 usually, and I normally buy insole inserts for comfort, one of my best hiking trail shoes are some Walmart branded ozark trails, I’ve had them for years with no issues or defects. I’m not much into brands or paying higher for brand, when I can find quality items for ten times cheaper (:
I honestly don't know. I rarely ever buy shoes. Though I do have a pair or two that may need to be replaced soon...
How much you willing to throw out
Depends on where I get them 😆
I like to buy expensive ones because they last longer and looking pretty decent too
not like those cheap one where you wear them for a year or two and they look like someone ripped them apart and seeing holes also stinky seeing your foot's sweat
my nikes and jordans are somewhere 150 euro and after 5 years they're pretty decent and healthy just like a new one except not being too tight
I only buy one brand and type of shoes. They are sketchers steel toe work sneakers in black. The most I payed for them was $95 when they weren't on sale, otherwise I pay $70. I don't need fashion shoes. I need comfort
I dont buy for the fashion per say. But i stick to what i know. And thats nike, jordan, converse and adidas lol. I liked kswiss as a kid. I went into sketchers yesterday and man the shoes are not pretty in person like they look online. So i walked out emptyhanded again
Damn i cannot with all black. I can only tolerate them if the sole is white. But i hate an all black shoe with all black sole too
Lmao boy bye
It depends. I buy most of my shoes and sneakers (tennis shoes, sport shoes) online. Sometimes I can get then for about $80, sometimes as much as $150.
Sneakers and trainers is all i really wear
Between $80 - $200. I like white vans so I wore them to work one day and I kid you not this kid (old enough to know better) stood on my shoes. If it was like a 4-5 year old then I probably wouldn’t have cared that much but this girl had to be like 10
Damn white vans of all vans colors? Dont the white ones look like keds
I Usually go to thrift stores in the rich parts of town, with nice dress shoes that are only worn once... because some pampered rich people be like that -_-, but i get several hundred dollar shoes for less than $10-$20
Well i get not wanting to spend much but i couldnt get shoes from a thrift store cause its not safe to share shoes. people could have athletes foot. But i’d buy cds at a thrift shop
That's why you disinfect them, after you buy them. Plus it's less likely they were worn if it's donated by extremely rich people. Many shoes sit in a closet and when the new fashion comes out they buy multiple pairs of shoes to mix and match with outfits
Im in love in Adidas shoes most expensive costs $150
Yea which i just bought and ruined within 5 mins
Less than $200. Usually can't find a decent pair of workboots for less than 150, so 200 is my cutoff
Do you wear them outside of work too?
Yeah usually. They're really comfortable. Only time i don't is wearing shorts out
What shoes do you wear with shorts
Was a pair of converses that wore out now i use a low cut pair of boots.
For my last pair of Docs I spent about $150.00. My big club boots $250, my work brogues about $100.00 running shoes $140 my tooled brogues $180
Damn thats fly
Last time I bought some shoes they were 2 for 60 so I got two pairs of leather boots one combat style the other heels. I don't buy shoes that often so before that it would have been $90 for my work shoes
£20 for my go-to safety grade Chelsea boots
My current smart shoes were £90 on the ticket but I ended up getting a 25% off voucher so £67.50
Is it like a cowboy style?
Nah, think more construction site manager
I have no problem paying $120-150 for a pair of runners or hikers. Everything else i have is $30 USD or so at Shoe Carnival. If it wear it more than twice a month, I’ll splurge.
A hundred dollars or more. I buy American Made and keep them for 30 years.
I usually never look at who made the shoe but now that u mentioned it, i dont wear any American made shoes. Last time i wore new balance was like kindergarten lol. I hate chacos. And these other brands i just dk lol
I think it's ridiculous to spend the kind of money you're talking about on what I call "tennis shoes", just because they're hyped by some celebrity. I don't spend more than $60 on shoes. I can get Asic's or Tretorn or Reeboks for that price on line, and I know which size works for each company. Blows my mind to think of giving Nike $200 for shoes.
Did i say i like em cause some celeb? No i didn't. If i see it in the store, I don't know who tf made the shoe. I just want it. However i often stick to the brands inknow
Usually $60, but the ones I like the most are Redwing black steel toe boots and they cost me $200. They last longer though so they actually end up costing less over time because they are more durable.
I run a lot. 10k's and hill climbs. I go through shoes a lot. I tend to buy top end running shoes. the last pair was $280
Shit i bet
actually my biggest limitation to the distance I can run is my feet. they always get sore at the 10k mark. I need really good shoes to get r done
I could easily spend 120 or more on a pair of shoes. If we look at boots we are looking at 200 or more. I started to find a style I like and then custom design them to match outfits.
$40-60 for a pair of shoes. Boots, thats different. usually up to $300, but thats if I really like em.
Lmao most i’ll pay for boot (ies) is $60
Those are hot!
Im not a fam of heel heels but on occasion i like pumps. For the most part, if i HAVE to wear heels, its almost always platform booties
Usually nothing over $60 (-ish). But I am slightly embarrassed to admit that the last ones I bought were $84.
No more than 75ish...
Having foot problems suck
Half size shoe plus orthotic inserts add up
Yea they do
Regardless of the brand. My typical expense on a shoe is $150-200.
Nice
I spend 80 max not more and I only buy Nike shoes, I like Jordans but I tend to dirty my shoes a lot so I prefer to buy cheaper ones. Every 6 months or so I buy new ones
depends... i don't think i would go over the $200 for the Vapormax Plus I buy. I have 6 pairs of them. I also like Hey Dudes, which only run about $60 a pair
Average of around 6000 to 10000 INR that's 80 to 150 USD
Damn im glad you converted because i was gonna say wtf lmao
I had to, who's gonna Google a response to a question for conversion 😉
Me lmao
😂😂😂
I never spend more than $60 in shoes. Most of my shoes cost around $50
It doesn't matter. I can afford them... How is this question valuable? a lot of people dont even wear shoes.
How is your answer valuable? Its just a question. You didn't have to answer. And i asked because some people prefer quantity over quality and sometimes price can play into that
I used to but cheap shoes but noticed you get what you pay for. So now around $100.
Lmao yea it ain't worth goin cheap
I am normally spending 17$ on the shoes, and it is weird how they are always good in style authentic as well as great.
$40 or less. Designer brand shoes look nice and all, but I have to pay my rent.
Aim for $120 max for sport shoes and $50 or less for casual
30$ or so, no reason to spend a lot in my opinion. All shows work the same
Most expensive shoes I bought were some adidas about 120 dollars
$5 to $200
I love uggs so my Ugg’s are $75
Oh gosh not uggs lol
I did at work and the tire track didn't come out. It faded but the little smudge left bothers me.
I hve nonslip sneaker type shoes for work and are very comfy as i stand all day
I dont care about shoes and am poor with no fiends or family so who would i be trying to impress
I usually spend $40-$60
Would you wear air force 1s if i got you some one day lol
I probably would. 😊
250$ tops Nike Air Max 💪🏽😂!
Goodness gracious. And i hate airmax. I bought one pair in 2019 for $180. Theyre too narrow for my foot lol. I was in pain all day. I've worn them Twice since and they just sit on the shelf all clean
I dont like air max enough for custom fit but others yes
60 to 80 dollars, but they usually last years.
Thats good. Mine last up to 3 years if i keep em clean
Right! Working in an office has its perks.
$30 to $40. Never much past that.
Oh okay
I don't know...50 to 70. Somewhere in there.
Less than I spend on a pair of underwear.
Undies are like $15-40 a box
About $90 for Converse ordered online
The ones you can customize?
