What do you usually spend on a pair of shoes?

For me, it depends on the brand. If its Nike, i’ll spend $80-200 easily. My air force 1s are usually $120 anyways. If its Jordan, I’ll spend $120-280 easily. But their shoes are too narrow in my opinion. If its converse, I’d only pay $40-80. If its heels, I’d pay no more than $50 cause i dont fck with herls outside of main events lol. But Fckin adidas… man i only liked their roundhouse hightops, Xplr and NMD1. I prefer adidas clothes and tracksuits rather than their shoes. So the fact these mfs wanna be $150 today kinda ticked me off. Online, shoes are under $100 but i shop in person so i can know that they fit. However, it wouldve taken a week to arrive and i needed shoes by tomorrow. So yea i bought it lmao. But get this, at tomes they feel an inch too big AND they’re all white. A mf bet not step on my shoes or we’ll have to box!! Lol

I wear mostly lace up boots. Working on the farm or working on the road you need something sturdy and safe. I do have 1 pair of new balance sneakers hardly worn and a pair of dudes for slipping on to go out. Otherwise it's boots to work, or fish, or hunt, to shade tree mechanic, got lots of boots but not many other types of footwear.

Usually around fifty bucks, give or take. It often takes a fair bit of looking, though, as in most brands I'm a size 14, and size consistency once you get past twelve kind of goes out the window, in men's shoes. That'd manageable, except that even size fifteens are rare outside of specialty shops, and anything bigger, you can just forget about. And at my size, finding a well-fitting, supportive shoe isn't optional.

And if anyone out there has a decent explanation of why larger shoe sizes (which go hand-in-hand with being taller) are usually LOWER on store shelves, I'd very much like to hear it. I'm sure it's not fun to crouch down next to floor to find your shoes when you're 5'2", but I'm a freaking foot taller than you, and it doesn't make any sense to have ME do it, either.

For sports shoes I normally select Puma. For dress shoes, Church's English shoes are without peer. I wore Church's shoes to the office every day for almost 30 years, usually the Duke; royal calf leather brogue black. Those shoes have been in style for 100 years and will be in style for 100 more.

I grew up poor. My school clothes came from the Sears catalog, which was all that my mother (a single mom) could afford. I was teased about my clothes in school. When I began my working career, I made sure that I was well dressed!

I only own three pair of shoes.

The two first ones are Vibram Fivefingers Trail, prized at $130. They simulate barefoot running, but less demanding so you can still run on hard terrain like in the mountain:

And the last one are Nike soccer sneakers, prized only at $60. Which I found legendarily good, comfortable and durable. Nothing I have tried ever comes closer to the comfort these provide:

I do not own any red bottoms...

But generally I don't buy cheap.
They're my feet and I need them in comfort and stable shoes.
Brand names:Nike, Dr martens, new balance, havianas, reebok, puma, sketchers, Clarks.

I'm more a trainers kind of girl.

I'm kind of a sneaker head. I always was in that $150 ballpark with Nike Vapormax, they are my favorite shoes to work out in. Nike is also kind of always narrow and going up a half-size always solved that with me. I have some air force 1s.

I don't mind buying new $70 Vans if they are pretty, as I rotate different shoes everyday, plus I like anything with flowers and skulls so there is that too.

My gym shoes are from New Balance size 6 Extra Wide and size 10
the pair I got now was around $90.00- 100.00 and they're for flat feet
and I have a high instep.. I was wearing corrective shoes as a baby
cause I was pigeon toe.. Yes these just turned 3 years old LMAO

Lets just say too much. Pretty much all stores only go up to a size 14 and I'm a 15 so I always have to special order them. And they get really pricy if it's some kind of specialty shoe.

Cheap shoes fall apart after 30 days, that's not worth even the effort of buying them.
Otherwise I pay whatever they cost. It took me two years to find shoes I was willing to accept. No typical pricetag would prevent me from taking those home... Although they were less than 100$ anyway.

Not much. The most I’ve ever spent is on a pair of Nike trainers and that’s a given. You’ve got to spend over £100. But any other shoes, no sir I don’t buy anything more than £30. not like those cheap one where you wear them for a year or two and they look like someone ripped them apart and seeing holes also stinky seeing your foot's sweat
my nikes and jordans are somewhere 150 euro and after 5 years they're pretty decent and healthy just like a new one except not being too tight

I think it's ridiculous to spend the kind of money you're talking about on what I call "tennis shoes", just because they're hyped by some celebrity. I don't spend more than $60 on shoes. I can get Asic's or Tretorn or Reeboks for that price on line, and I know which size works for each company. Blows my mind to think of giving Nike $200 for shoes.
