does it mean anything, if the girl i like, said to me the other day that she "broke a fingernail" by accident (her real nails, i guess she doesn't wear fake ones, at least when in the house). And she walked over to me, to show me, and she let me touch her hand, without too much pull back, i think. i was drinking, so i dont really remember much

I have a strong preference for short, round nails. I can't get into longer nails for some reason. I don't really know why.

My nails are natural, and get very long.
I’ve just cut them down to square and they look good. Usually I keep them squoval because they break more often when oval.

On me, I have always liked square and that's what I do.
On others, oval and similar are all fine.
I am big on angles. In the product world, females apparently choose rounded shapes, and males choose angular. I am very feminine, but I am more male in some of my tastes apparently.
What I can't stand is extremely long stiletto and coffin. Awful.
But any nail that is relatively short and not dangerous or aggressive... girls should do as they please. It's once they become weaponized, or so long that they are not self-sufficient and can't do anything in day-to-day life, or even open items up themselves, then it becomes a problem and so impractical, prioritizing vanity over self-reliance.

Stiletto nails are my favorite, but almond is the second most acceptable one.
I don't like anything squared, those make me cringe internally.
