Apparently skinny jeans are going out of fashion. What is your opinion on looser jean styles on women?

Little late to the news tbh. I don't see anyone wearing skinny jeans anymore.
Personally I really like it. I think wide leg and flared pants are more flattering for me because they make my legs look longer and I have thick thighs and they kinda balance that out. Also, I disliked buying skinny jeans because it would never fit over the thighs or it would be so stretchy that it was basically a legging and it would wear down super fast. Haven't worn skinny jeans for years before it was cool for that reason.
I think skinny jeans can still be nice if you have the right legs for it. I think it looks good if you have long and somewhat shapely legs but not too much and good hips. I just don't like to overaccentuate my thick thighs and I like my legs to look longer.

bootcut are really the only looser jeans i like. they're still tight on the ass and thighs and i love the flared out look as they go further down the leg. it looks sexy and different. i don't care that skinny jeans are no longer trendy as i wear what i want and don't care what others find "trendy." but yeah, i do like bootcut and skinny jeans equally and have a closet full of both styles, even before, gasp, bootcut jeans were considered "trendy." anyways, i don't like the mom jeans shit. i don't get why girls in their 20s wear jeans that look 3 sizes too big. so ugly and unflattering. makes their ass look like a square and just not cute. also makes them look 20 lbs fatter.

I like the looser boot cut style jeans.

To me skinny jeans look idiotic. Doesn't matter if it is a man or a woman. Some women in them might look attractive. That's simply because they are attractive women. Overriding how bad the jeans look. But they'd still look better in something else.

Still the worst are those super high waist jeans some women wear. That go up to their chest. Which I guess is a recent trend. Sort of like when overalls where all the rage for a few years in the 90s.

No surprises there. Bootcut jeans (still tight everywhere above the knees) were all anyone wore when I was a teenager, and I think they look much better.
No doubt the baggy cargo pants, popularized by girl group All Saints, will be making a comeback too, if they haven't already.

I've noticed that, as well. Weird how skinny jeans reigned supreme for so long and have suddenly been dethroned among young people.

Personally I'm not a big fan of either style. I prefer fitted, straight, not too skinny or loose jeans. Maybe loose relaxed styles are slightly better than skinny ones

The thing about skinny jeans is not all women look good in them, but they wear them because they're in fashion (and then tell me all their "body positive" crap, when the fact remains, if you're fat, you look bad in them!). I think a looser fit helps out anyone who carries some extra weight.

Ewww. The tighter the better. I saw a woman wearing looser jeans, and let's just say, she did not look good in them. Most women don't look good in them, so I can't imagine why they're coming into style.
