Which do you prefer: long hair or short hair?

Both are highly attractive in their own unique ways. Keep in mind I am a straight woman but I do have an eye for pretty things.

Short: It frames the curve of the neck, shoulders, and back well. Exposing the nape can be a very erotic thing. Short hair does give a playful boyish apperance, a sexy edge or a fresh, modern look. It also can help give a "lighter" apperance, not weight-wise, just that short hair can make you look a bit freer and more spirited. On taller women, it often looks chic and bold and on short women, it can give a dainty impression. Long hair on the wrong person can sometimes look quite boring.

Long: there is also a reason why long hair is preferred. Long soft hair is a very obvious signifier of health and fertility. And is for a large portion of western/eastern culture seen as a very distinctly, female trait. Long hair is seen as sexy, flirty & feminine as it drapes down a women's body ( or fluffs out like a soft cloud, depending on your hair type). It also can be seen as a symbol of the effort it takes to care for it, to maintain a traditional feminine charm. However too long is usually considered as past the hips or mid-thigh, when it looks like the effort to care for it outweighs the beauty.

I know this isn't all, but just some of my opinions as a girl.

Medium length, mid back, or above shoulder length are my favourites. Anything extremely short, like pixie cuts or "boy" cuts, I absolutely detest.

In terms of styles, I love 1940's curls nicknamed "Victory Rolls" and 1920s wavy bobs.

Everyone in my home loves long hair. I’ve donates to a buzzcut a lot myself, but really like to have the options long hair gives. Not just style, but warmth too. Ironically long hair dries a lot faster than short if you have thick hair. That surprised me when I first went short.

I have natural pure platinum blonde hair that is so long it's longer than I am tall. It's super shiny silky and very healthy too. I also have the bluest brightest lightest eyes. Men including my very dark sexy black husband love my hair both the color and length and always compliment me on it. They live my eyes too and tell me I have the bluest lightest brightest most beautiful eyes they've ever seen and tell me I'm by far the most beautiful and most feminine girl they've ever seen.

I prefer short to medium length hair on women of interest, but it is not anywhere near an issue if someone I find interesting happens to have long hair. It can be just as beautiful. I think my interest stems from me being the most attracted to feminine androgynous/non-binary people.
