I've actually never heard this. I think it all boils down to personal preference, as some have a preference for a certain hair color, while it doesn't matter to others.

I think it’s cus blonde hair is the beauty standard for women. So dyeing it makes you more attractive. But you have to be really striking to look good with dark hair
