Fashion shows are aspirational marketing.
The purpose of models being tall, slender and beautiful is to create in the subconscious mind of the female viewers the thought that if they wear the same clothes they might look like the model.
Feminists and the left in general celebrate ugliness and failure, so fat pink-haired hairy nose-ringed freaks screech and reeeee about models, because they are jealous of beautiful women.
The left hates all forms of beauty and are driven by envy of everyone who is more successful and/or better looking than they are.

There focus is on body mainly but also shows how much she intellectual and have good IQ that girl have. But yes showing your body is main motive in fashion shows that's why models take so much care of their body.

Actually they sometimes give them pretty weird hairstyles, makeup and clothes... lol

Fashion can get weird... but no... fashion is more than swimsuits... has some long-erse trench coats, goofy boots and beautiful dresses.

I don't know but the fashion that is shown on many of the big ones is nothing that most people would wear it's often more for the show and name than actually wearable clothes

I do not believe so.
Your confidence is also seen there. Your mind is also tested there.
But of course, before the beauty that is not visible directly (mind), the beauty that is directly visible (body) is seen.

There is a reason why beautiful people, does not matter if they are smart or not, have somewhat more chance of clearing an interview than normal people.

the pic above looks like a swimsuit competition. real runway shows are to show off their creations, thats why back in the day the the waif look on models was in, they were to be nothing more then a walking clothes hanger

Not fashion shows. Usually the models are chosen to best show off the designers clothes I would guess.  Beauty pageants maybe. But that's kind of the point.
