Well, Victoria Secret is more commercial modeling, so I think some of the models are curvier, but I do think some of them are waaaaaaay too skinny. And since they are so tall, they look even skinner. But since VS is a lingerie fashion line, I think they try to go for models that fill out their clothing to promote it better.
However, fashion models are "hangers" for the clothing. They tend to be tall and skinny because the clothes just "hang" off their bodies. Also, I've heard that designers generally only make certain sizes of their clothing so people in Hollywood have to slim down in order to be able to fit into the clothes for events and stuff. Not sure if that's true...
Honestly, I've seen some of the VS models and some are pretty, some are overrated, lol. Personally, I don't find them extremely attractive, but then again, I am a girl, lol. Models tend to lookalike to me after a while...
because the fashion industry makes guys think we can all look like that when they are unrealistic, and in return it makes us look like we aren't good enough. I always feel inferior when I look at those catalogs, those models are damn perfect. then again, I want a guy to appreciate more than my body, honestly, those girls are going to have a hard time finding guys who aren't just using them for sex or fame. I know some guys who think girls looking like that is realistic.
They're too skinny now they didn't used to be.
They look horrible in the last couple of shows and it's a big complaint by people in the model industry.
They're beautiful looking girls but I'd prefer it if they weren't so skinny. Being able to see a girl's ribs just isn't appealing to me. It's by no means a deal breaker but I prefer healthier looking (even thick) girls. I've always said that I like women to feel soft and sensual when I put my arms around them, not skinny and bony.
You're correct. They are all far too skinny and just not that attractive or sexy.

In regards to your update. Because clothes look good on skinny people.
Well I know most guys see them as too skinny. But they are fashion models. And they have to be that way or they won't work.
Just an FYI, Victoria's Secret models can't be size zero. They want to promote healthy looking, natural curves. They just look so skinny because they're all Amazonian tall.
And I find Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio to be gorgeous.
