Is it alright to buy the same thing as my friend?

Recently my friend bought a pair of shoes that I had also liked before. I've been needing a new pair of shoes for a while since the ones I use daily are in pretty bad condition. While shopping for shoes, I found two that I liked, one of which is the same one my friend has (also the one I like better). I'm wondering if the timing would be strange in buying the same shoe as her. She also mentioned her shoes quite a bit the day she first wore them, so I probably wouldn't even have noticed otherwise lol. Should I just get them anyway or the other shoes instead?

by the way, we never talked about shoes so neither of us could've known that we both liked this shoe, but I don't want it to seem weird.

Yes but totally different look. Shoes are super fashionable especially Italian shoes and alligator belts etc...

Find a different look with them though... absolutely important so your friend will not be personally violated by a copy-cat... MOM can help
