Where would you put the Square Footage/Space Design in your New property build?

If you were moving into a 1200 sqft duplex... where would you want the largest spaces to be? What modern big Stuff should be accommodated for-like those monster furniture combined California King beds. Each bedroom has attached bath and 6 foot deep walk-in closet? Best practical or living ease that would make you super comfortable there?

I know Harry Potter was a huge success and all, but no broom closet bedrooms... So much new construction tosses in 10x10 bedrooms to squeeze more bedrooms into a property. I see 4,000 sq ft homes that have ridiculous things like dog shower in them, 30x30 great rooms, etc. but they will make their bedrooms like 10x10. Something is seriously wrong with architects. Bedrooms should be roughly 15x15 to be functional in the modern world. If you're an adult with a spouse you have extra furniture on the walls. If you're over 4 years old you probably need a desk either as a student growing up or as an adult that works from home. If you have little kids they need room to play with their toys without you stepping on piles of Legos barefooted when you walk their their door. If you get that right, your floor plan will be better than 99% of the properties that are on the market. Typically only custom built homes get it right.

The bedroom are actually 16x14 and the attached bath and walk-in closet with ample space for 2-3 dressers.(California King, settee, bed bench/chest at foot of bed, midsize-refrig and desk given preferences) WITHOUT having to turn sideways to get around. They mirror one another.

Living room is designed to hold (3) 3 seat couches and recliner with plenty of wall space.
Kitchen is nice built-in everything with W/D and three seat bars and window to watch football while cooking... small dining room (not part of kitchen) space (6top table) between kitchen and living room areas. high ceilings, gas heat/elec. I'm expect 2400-2600 on each side of duplex.

WHAT AM I FORGETTING. 1/1/23 construction start... WHAT am i Forgetting?
On paper it is large open space SO I am sure it will be housed by a 3 bedroom Family.
