What do you think about nail art?

I hate the smell and dark polish colors like plum, black, blue, green, yellow, red etc. Its only decent looking to me if its french manicure or pastel blue/purple/pink or white.

But man I saw this waitresses nails were like faded white french manicure with multicolored glitter and it was soooo pretty. i can't find anything like them online but these are cute too.

I have an odd phobia of nail polish so my future daughters won't be allowed to wear anything around me other than clear or one of the colors above

those colors are pretty! <3 I only like maroon color and nude color for my nails topped with gloss. and it is nice that your nails aren't super long. mine are not that long too, more hygienic

@twixie lol i bite my nails so if i ever decide to do any of the above, it’ll be for my wedding and never again and it’ll be fake short nails

In my opinion, the height of beauty when it comes to nails are the French tip. They make your nails beautiful and mimic natural look. Anything more is for matching dress colors or special occasions. But the French tip can go with anything. As for nail art, I think it’s a fun activity.

Personally, I think it's a waste of time and money. As long as your nails are short and hygienic, I think it's much more attractive than fake or painted nails.

Once I was working next to a payday loan place and I'd see women go in there who obviously spent $60+ on nails and dressed to the nines. Sure, if you're ballin' go all out. But if you need a loan to get to the next paycheck, doing your nails is a huge red flag.

I agree. I can't stand being in a nail salon for a long time. If I use nail polish I only like nude color or a maroon color that has gloss. my nails aren't too long. i don't like long nails as it can get dirty easily. nail art is pretty sometimes but it is a waste of money

@twixie That and I feel like just walking into a nail salon is burning lung and brain cells with all the chemicals they use. Next time you're in one, just look at the blinds. I bet they are covered in sticky film... and they say smoking is bad for you.

I love nice nails on a woman and too enjoy nice nail art on them, although I typically like them just painted. But some nail art is really cool! Especially holiday time!
